@G-Mann: what would you have to pay, when you would be caught?
It varies. http://www.speed-trap.co.uk/Accused_Home/SpeedVSFines/SpeedVSFines.htm scroll down the page and there's a table of real life examples. One Ferrari driver got to keep his licence and paid a £1000 fine instead for doing 117mph (on a single carriageway 60mph road).

I haven't got my license yet, so the fastest I've driven is only about 120km/h (in a 110 zone), whilst passing a truck. Did it in my dads '97 Aussie Ford Fairlane. I've been in the car when dad has had it at 140-150. I'm pretty sure hes taken it to 200 though, just I've never been in the car when he did.

One of my favourite Audis, definitely. A proper dream car.

Indeed, a beautiful car
At the beginning of the topic I mentioned that I never drove (much ) above the 120-130 km/h limit, but last summer as I went to Berlin I could drive up to 170-180 km/h (the limit was rather due to the car, my Peugeot 206SW)

I've now had the nerve to take my old 1996 Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 Tourer (automatic) to its maximum speed of 132/133mph on the speedo, it was on the M1 a couple of months ago (during daytime actually). Normally I think it's daft to do that kind of speed because if I got caught = instant driving ban (don't know how that LondonItalian bloke got away with what he claims) but I was going up north trying to do a long journey quickly so was doing 90-100 for quite a while, so I just thought "what the hell" and tried to see if it could still reach its alleged 130+ mph top speed. So that's the fastest I've ever been in a car yet, but now I've done it, I probably shouldn't do it again, not in that car (if anything it may not be the best thing for the engine, it was doing over 5000 revs at that speed). I did it on a long, quiet section, I really don't think I could have done that speed going through a curve with my car's suspension.
The speed itself didn't feel like that big a deal (the Omega is a fairly smooth car), it's really the worry of getting caught (wouldn't like to be without a driving licence)

Sure - who would get the idea to create old-style shot-glasses with an Audi 60 today? Especially if you think about the fact, that the classic schnapps like "Korn" or "Doppelkorn" became very uncool and unmodern in Germany in the past years. It's something for old men from the countryside. Younger people like it only combinated with lemonade as an alcopop.

Nice stuff, Ingo. Is it original?

Sorry for one off-topic-posting, it will be only this one.
@walter: as you have mentioned the Audiclassice-club: I would like to swap this funny little Audi-goodie with something adequate

Some weeks ago I covered almost 360 Km on the highway from Cuneo to Modena with this 1989 Audi quattro 20V, that belongs to a friend, also member of the italian club Audiclassiche. That's obviously the fastest car and the best car that I drove so far. One of my favourite Audis, definitely. A proper dream car.
