When Isuzu provided the Axiom for the Spy Kids movies that did not help either. It wasn't a great movie anyways so that could be why.

Once they got rid of the Rodeo, which was their biggest selling model, they were in trouble. The current lineup is nothing more than GMC's with a more restricted options list. They also have a much smaller dealer network. I heard that the commercial truck lines are staying because they are selling well.

There's an Izuzu dealer near where I work.98% of his business is from his-Used- car department!! (which is 90% of his lot....)The two Pickups & Ascender are of course versions of Colorados & Trailblazers anyway,so go figure??

I don't know about the trucks. We could still get those, but not the I290/I370 pickup or Ascender SUV. Heck Isuzu probably made more money with their Duramax engines found in GM heavy duty pickups. For the past 3 or 4 years I've seen less and less of the Isuzus on the road. I always knew that one day they will be gone, but it took longer than I thought.

So what does this mean for the medium-duty Chevrolet/GMC Cabovers?

That's sad ...

General Motors is finally taking Isuzu off the market.
