Yes, it's already mounted, because last week we had to make a transport with my-father-in-law's trailer, and due the weather I didn't want to use the K 70, but it's indeed the Christmas-present, I got from my wife.
She got something automotive-related from me, too, but due my heedlessless (I overlooked the last "confirm"-button on the PayPal-side and have noticed that just one day before Christmas ) it's not here now. So I only can show you the link: http://shop.dayline.de/D-LITE-SCHEINWERFER-VOLKSWAGEN--D-Lite--D-LITE-Scheinwerfer---VW-Polo-9N3-05-09----chrom/a34200039_u1370_zceb91a5b-ee3d-49e0-9149-b86ecd829326/
P.S. The "Bosal"-cap is just there, because the local garagist, who had mounted the tow bar, had them in his stock, the bar is not made by that company.
Oh, an from my parants-in-law I got original Vauxhall-RHD-floormats

Nothing gifts... except a videocamera for filming the Dakar...

@ ford_guy, floor mats are a great gift, I gave my father a set of floor mats for Christmas a few years back. The good ones (the all-weather kind like you got) can really help to save your vehicle’s carpet.
I need a set for my truck, but its hard to find OE floor mats same as the originals.
@ ingo, I need that book, I don’t even understand USA-people sometimes

@ingo: It's good to hear that it was peaceful for you guys. Although our weather is certainly not as bad as yours and isn't causing delays like in other parts of the US and the world, so many continuous days of rainfall have really hit the region hard. Hopefully it won't lead to terrible mud slides here.

Nothing overtly car related, sadly.
Nearest to anything car related was a DVD of Wire in the Blood which I guess will have cars in it. I suppose a Lotus Evora couldn't fit under my tree.

That's more car related than I got, which was absolutley nothing.

If I think closer, it was nothing automotive-related among my present. I only got a mail of a colleague the day before Christmas, tht he has found an old German license plate for my collection.
But I got two books, I'm interested in. One for better understanding USA-people and their way of thinking, annother about Poland and its citizens
@ford_guy: our Christmas had been nice and peaceful (although a plenty of my wife's family had visited us...), but we were so happy, that we don't have to go by car anywhere in the last days. Right now there is a strong onset of winter all around in Middle-Europe, incl. total collapses of the car-, truck-, bus-, train-, tramway- and plane-traffic
My brother-in-law and his family stucked for over 9 hours on the Autobahn from Berlin to the Ruhr-Area, caused by a heavy iced-rain. Minus 4 degrees plus rain - the whole area there was covered with 5 cm-thick ice, everything...

Nice, hopefully you can contribute to that page
My sister gave me some all-weather floor mats for my car. It's been rainy here in Southern California for a while now and figured I needed to upgrade to some more durable mats. Although not your typical Christmas present, we've all been a little cash-strapped so we bought each other what we needed over what we simply wanted.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
