I don't think it's a Catera.

Seville STS, STS= Seville Touring Sedan

CTS = Cadillac Touring Sedan

Isn't it called CTS because it's the successor to the Catera (Cadillac smallest sedan, based on the Opel/Vauxhall Omega and Holden Commodore)?

Cool!

yes i'm concentrating on challenge cars, as they are more unique. i've got an Alfa spider to do as Hammonds and a GTV to do as May's alfa. I'll do what cars i can find a model in 1/24 scale.

currently needs a change of colour (to silver) and i need to build and paint the GTV.
This is my current project

Those are cool! Are you focusing on cars from challenges? Have you made any others?

The first gen of the LT had the same engine (1.8 or 2.0 liter, I don't) know, as the Porsche 924 and the Audi 100 [C1].

That these clowns only have noticed the VW-engine in the 924, shows two things:

a) the Porsche 924 contains a wild mixture of parts of the whole VW/Audi-range of the early 70ies. There's stuff included from Passat, Polo, Beetle, Typ 3, Typ 4, Audi 100 and even K 70 (cooling water pot, wipers).

b) they don't know anything about the history. The 924 was originally developed as an Audi. By Porsche engineers, but planned as an Audi. But one more sportive car in the range besides Scirocco and Audi 100 Coupé S was too much, so it was a left-over, which was built by Porsche theirself then.

I forgot to mention that the book does tell that the 924 was originally developed for VW, and they complain about it not feeling like a true Porsche. This doesn't change my opinion on that the book is crap in itself.

I don't really understand why the book carries Top Gear branding at all. While the TV show is sometimes quite good (I find the cheap car challenges quite interesting, as well as the history segments which seem to get rarer in newer episodes, and the humour is mostly good too), the book is really bad, as it contains next to no real information of any of the cars, and most of the text isn't funny at all, even though it tries to be.

Only one time on Youtube. Parts of the episode about the demise of the British car industry. Clarkson has interviewed retired automotive engineers. As example they took the Triumph Stag, and for what reasons (technical, logistical, administrative) this car became such an terrible disaster.
That's all.
