Certainly all thumbnails that we uploaded to geting.se are lost BUT now if you click on any lost link from getin you will be redirected to http://laddauppbilder.se/

What I can do is post the zip file in case someone wants to go replace pictures one by one, but for sure I won't do that myself

I have tried to email them but I get a respons that the mail couldn't be delivered...

So are you going to recuperate the missing pics from your last backup, Antp? Or it's better to wait again for some days, hoping for some miracle from Geting?

imagebam Although antp once said those couldn't be backed up. It's a great hosting site and it'll do until antp finally sets up an IMCDb specific one.

I can backup photobucket as I do for imageshack & geting
I do not know for flickr.

I'm in the same situtation, and I got really annoyed when I discovered the lost pictures are not only the oldest ones. I've lost a picture the day after been uploaded. For my last picture I've used Imageshack, I don't know if better... let's see.

Photobucket never loses an image, I've been using it for three years. Annoyingly they do censor naked ladies. (This is why sicxyl can never use it)

I don't know how Flickr works but, when geting.se was down on oct-nov 2010, I used photobucket for 2 months and the thumbs from that time still are on the site

What would be better to use instead: Flickr or Photobucket?

Not familiar with PhotoBucket but notice a few people here use it.
