As we already list the A-class with their body name, we could do the same for the others.
In the next version of the site we made two fields to handle cases like that, so both info can be provided properly.

In the US they are registered by their chassis manufacturer.

It could be better indeed.
How are these registered officially? As Ford/Chevrolet or under their "motorhome name"?

As some of you might know, our unknown Class C motorhomes don't like to show their cabs. So my proposal is: we list them, and also the identified Class C's by the body and model. This would also reduce the number of Ford Econolines/Chevrolet Vans etc. we have on the site, so you don't spend several minutes searching for a specific car.

So http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_190321-Ford-E-450-1999.html becomes Four Winds Five Thousand on 1999 Ford E-450 chassis
