Yesterday I saw the Albanian film Tomka and His Friends (1977), which was shown at the BFI in London as part of the Cinema of Childhood season.

The film is set during the Second World War, and trucks looking like the Berliet GBC 8KT are used as German army vehicles. However, various Berliet models were cloned in China so it seems more likely that they were Chinese copies instead of original Berliets. I just don't know if the GBC 8KT was one of the models copied in China.

There was also a small truck that might have been a Beijing BJ130A (as mentioned above). The front wasn't shown, but it was cab over engine and the cab looked more rectangular than those of classic Italian COE trucks, for instance.

No private cars at all there. As long Enver Hoxha lived, it was forbidden to own a private car in Albanaia.

So yes, mostly sourced from China or other Eastern European countries, maybe years or decades before 1991...

In the documentary, one of the people interviewed said that (80s/90s) Albania looked worse than Italy in 50s: in particular said that there were a lot of bicycles, very few cars on the streets except for the (anyway) few large brown Volvo for the party's nomenklatura...

Yes, the last one is a Polski Fiat 125 and the police van a Fiat Ducato. On 1, 4 and 5 are Skoda trucks, the truck on 3 a Fiat, I think and the Jeep on pic 6 is a Chinese Beijing Jeep (China had been the last and for many years the only friend of Enver Hoxha's Albania)
