Forthcoming event in Northamptonshire in middle of July with apparently some TV/film cars on display.

"The Festival of the Unexceptional is meant to humorously highlight the serious attrition rate of cars produced in the 1970s-1980s. Remarkably, there are more Ferrari 308 GTBs licensed in Britain today than Austin Allegros. In the 1950s and 1960s, the British motor industry produced some of the most exceptional cars that the world had ever seen. These aren't those cars. These are the cars from the era that quality control forgot. The Unexceptional Era of roughly 1973-85 when you could have your car in any colour as long as it was beige, mustard or brown, when plaid seats, vinyl tops and bogus Rosytle hub caps ruled. We hope to see the finest collections of Alfasuds and Marinas that people normally leave in the car park of the car shows. This is a true celebration of those cars and a reminder that despite looks, all cars should be loved and cared for."

Include a "Concours de l’Ordinaire".

It has links to a site page which is not working, but found this page as well.

First held last year when the star car was Princess Di's Metro.
