^ Nice. I like the T-top Cutlass Supreme.

Some more cars I'd like to own:

1971-76 and 1977-79 Buick LeSabre's

Some fairly ordinary-for-their-time blue-collar cars:

1981-ish Datsun 210

1978-80 Ford Fairmont/Mercury Zephyr

1978-79 Toyota Celica

1979-82 Ford LTD Country Squire (if I ever needed a station wagon)

Cars i'd love to own.... there is so a big bunch of them...... from the 1930's to actual ones, all kinds of type and size.... i guess i would need to be a millionaire.....then i would need to be a billionaire.... then .... is there something above of billionaire ?
When it comes to cars, i'd probably get the collector's bug ( or bite, not sure.. ) if i had the money to do so and need a huge warehouse to host my personnal auto show....
Here a few pics, otherwise this topic would be as big as the interesting cars one...

Buick Grand National/GNX , don't really matter which one it would be, but one of them would be in
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b9/1983_Hurst_Olds.jpg
One of his platform partners, the Hurst Oldsmoblie Cutlass Supreme.
To this duo, would be added of course a Pontiac Grand Prix and a Chevy Monte Carlo SS, both with T-Top.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/cb/Trans_Am_Family.jpg
the Camaro twin would be in too, with Corvette... in fact, love everything with T-Top ( almost everything, 1974-1978 Mustang is really ugly but i would tolerate a Cobra )

or Targa

and some others from AMC, including of course their AMX counterparts...
Hudson Hornet

Buick Reatta, just because its rare..

A lot of muscle cars too... Olds 442 and relatives, 1969 Plymouth Road Runner...and many more....

some movie replicas too : General Lee, Ecto-1, KITT ( once again, and many more... )

Some Porsche too ( 911, 914-6, 924, 928, 944, 968 )

having a little thing for the BMW M products ( 3,4,5, ) and 635 CSI

there is a lot more, but the more i look into the automobile history, the more i find that i'd love to own so i beter stop here before writing something with more pages that a Stephen King book

last ones before i stop

First car i bought in Gran Turismo 1-5 until GT6 forced me to buy a Honda Fit ( or Jazz, don't remember ) as first car....

and finally, had a car that was itself a nice little dream for 10 years...

Mine was like this one except for tinted windows and mirrors were black...and i had a sunroof....missing it everyday ( not only sunroof, whole car ! )

i could do this differently, nicely done with links and everything but i'd still be here by summer and still there would be some cars that i forgot so it would be kind of neverending post...

No problem, here we go:

No kidding, as already told: the license plates on this specific car are a permanent loan by me. Originally they were between 1978 and 1980 on my father's 8/1973 VW Passat (Dasher in America)

I'm very surprised that I could not find a thread like this already on the forum, but here goes.

Just post pics/info about cars you'd absolutely love to own, drive, or just drool over in your driveway all day

Couple of cars I really like...

1977-79 Oldsmobile Delta 88

Massive, heavy American sedan that I just love everything about. Everything on this car is just so visually satisfying to look at. It's not extremely magnificent like most 1960s American cars, but I kinda like that - in that it might turn some heads, but not too many. The style is just to the point where it's comfortably post-1975, but pre-1990 (modern, but not too modern). Even watching it smoothly sway & rock as it elegantly rolls over hills and small bumps along the road is just such a wonderful sight to me. The 1980-85 ones are nice too, but not quite as large, high door handles (really close to the window still like the Impalas/Caprices of the same time), and with less attractive tail lights.

1970-76/1977-79 Chevrolet Impala (4-door)

I'm torn between the 1970-76 Impalas and 1977-79 ones here....it changes back and fourth from day-to-day. But if I had to, I could settle for the 1980-85 ones as well. Boxy style appeals to me. Pleasing to the eye...

1976 Pontiac Catalina

Yes, I know - I'm a sucker for late 70s/early 80s cars. :ddr555:

Now I know my picks of large, heavy 4-door sedans may be strange to some of you - they're kinda slow and loud, but I'll take it. I love everything about them. I was never really into sports cars and the like, I just want a wonderfully comfy ride with reasonable (great) styling that has long since passed. I'd throw in a small car to be fair, but now that I have my '84 Accord, I'm good on that front!
