Now the MINI/Mini name is displayed as discussed earlier: by default "Mini", in uppercase if the chassis starts by one of the letters of the new models.
I've also the few others changes in test since a few days:
- Fixing layout of the make page, to have the make description aligned correctly at the side of the logo (and below the logo on mobile), and the automatic links always below the logo. Sample with a long description: https://imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=Isuzu
- On the page showing all comments from a movie and its vehicles, one can now filter to show only comments with pictures and/or only comments containing a specific text. It can be useful for example to see if a specific vehicle was regrouped with another, if you don't know with which one (or search on episode number in comments for series).
- Picture upload now accepts webp in addition to jpeg & png (but all is still converted to jpeg).
- Below the main pic, beside the brightness icon, there is a link to get the code [pic=xxx] to make a link to a vehicle page in a comment. In the same way, in the popup of comments pics, you can easily get the code to re-post an existing comment pic to in another comment without having to edit or quote the comment containing it to get the code.
- [Admins only] On the vehicle page, there is now a checkbox "Include main picture in quote (for delete/replace)" between the main picture and the comments, on the right. This allows to store the image as a comment picture before deleting it (for regrouping vehicles or moving them to the movie page) or replacing it (if the new pending pic shows a different scene). It includes also the episode number, the time tag and the role, if these info exist.

I checked previously and dsl updated the few classic ones without code, but there are still some Moke without code, I forgot about these. Anyway with both solutions those without chassis codes will cause issue.
If you want to code the Portugese Mokes as YDO18 to solve the problem it's a bodge, but has some logic in the absence of a known code. Once the system is established practice, it should bed down easily enough.

I've split this thread to put the have the split/changes requests in another thread:
https://imcdb.opencommunity.be/forum_topic-9986-94113.html#p94113
So please use that other thread for these requests, and this one for comments/feedback related to updates applied to the site.

Yes sounds good to me.

I can do the uppercase only for the R/F/U codes, but then all the newer ones without code should get one (one by default if the picture does not allow to chose precisely which one they are).

Oh yes I forgot about the latest U ones. There should be some classic Minis listed without the chassis code though so it might be better not to put the uppercase to all of them.
antp
I forgot that, I'll try to do that in the next days.
There is also U, and all those without code. So the other way seems easier: uppercase when chassis is not starting by AD.

@Antp: I think we can put MINI in capital for all the chassis codes starting with R (R50, R52, etc...) and F (F55, F56 etc...) to make things quicker.

It is fine
These fields are there if we want to add info when it is available, but it can also be quite empty if we don't have more.
Also, most of the existing 6000+ makes still don't have anything, since they were created automatically.
For recent makes it is easier to have info and logo of course.
Like here I've put the full company name, website link, and (one of the reason of this) a link to a related make: https://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Suzhou-Eagle.html
When there is a Wikipedia page, I also sometimes included the first sentence of the page as description. Like here, where there is also the link to the other make sharing the name: https://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Triumph.html

Update: have filled in some basic info on Serra, and after mike962 found a leaflet on Transcraft. Still only bare bones stuff, but not sure what else there is.
