The 106 was launched in end of 1991.

It was restyled in 1996, when the Saxo was launched. The rear of both cars was then similar.

Who ever feared to dig up a 9-year old thread? :grin:

The Peugeot website propose a history part in French, English and Spanish.
Useful for a general view of the make and for the unveiling dates of major products, including 2-wheelers and... coffee grinders :joce:

UK dates:
106 S1 arrived Sept 91, S2 facelift June 96.
406 S1 arrived Jan 96, S2 facelift March 99.
