Polish fire engines

Hello everyone!
To be honest, I have registered to deal exclusively with this particular topic. I run two websides dedicated to the past and present of the Polish fire service. Hence, fire engines and other vehicles used by the fire services in Poland are my specialty.
Bottom line is, the naming of most of these needs to be revised ASAP.
I'll start with the vehicles made by Jelcz:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Jelcz.html
Looking at the list, I have to say that although some of these were very nicely identified and named, a lot of stuff is weird or just wrong.
First and foremost, there was no such thing as: "002 GSBAM 2000/8+8", "004 GCBA 5/37", "004 GCBA 6/31", "004 M GCBA 5/37". Here is a full list of communist era Jelcz fire engines (from serial production, that is - prototypes not included):
GSBA [SBA] 2000/16 Jelcz 001 (1958-60); chassis: Star A21P (1958), Star A25P (1960)
GSBA [SBA] 2000/8 Jelcz 002 N751 (1958-64); chassis: Star A21P (1958), Star A25P (1960)
GSBA 2000/8 Jelcz 002 N752 (1964-1966); chassis Star A25P with N20.1 cab
GSBAM 2000/8+8 Jelcz 028 (1966-1969); chassis Star A26P
GSBAM 2000/8+8 [GBAM 2/8+8] Jelcz 003 (1969-1975); chassis Star A26P
GCBA 6/32 Jelcz 004 (1974-1979); chassis Jelcz 315MS
GCBA 6/32 Jelcz 004M (1979-1991); chassis: Jelcz 315MS (1979-1982), Jelcz 325DS (1982-1991)
GBA 2,5/16 Jelcz 005 (1975-1979); chassis Star P244L
GBA 2,5/16 Jelcz 005M (1979-1998); chassis Star P244L
GBM 2,5/8 Jelcz 008 (1983-199x); chassis Star P244L
Pictures for reference:

This is it. There have never been other types, apart from later convesions, done by many different bodybuilders. These obviously do not count.
I'll also be trying to update all individual vehicles one by one.
I'm also happy to help anyone with any questions concerning Polish fire engines.

Welcome to the site bondziu, so you are the author of the "prl998" also right?
Of course all corrections are welcome. Only thing I can add is that the "002 GSBAM 2000/8+8" was mistake someone did during renaming after your comment. The few strange, according to you, names were taken from some different sources also paper ones, but of course it doesn't mean they must be free from mistakes. So continue your checking and good luck.

Correct, I'm one of the authors, my real name is Konrad Nowak
I do know that even people like Frank-Hartmut Jäger have come up with some rather strange descriptions in their books. However, to the best of our knowledge and experience at prl998.pl, they're all false.
