Request for help identifying German cars/trucks/buses not related to movies
Published 28/11/2024 @ 01:53:43, By Harold B
For many years I've been collecting pictures of all sorts of vehicles in service with the German militaries in WW1 and WW2. Not just combat vehicles, but all of the civilian cars and trucks they pressed into service, which especially during WW2 was an enormous amount. I do my best to identify them, and I've gotten pretty good at recognizing the common ones, but I've still ended up with a large amount of pictures marked as unknown - most of them because they're vehicles seen in the background of low-quality photos or from bad angles/obscured, but also some which are clearly visible yet still unknown to me.

I know this site is focused on cars in movies, but I feel it's probably the best resource there is for identifying vehicles in general, so I wanted to ask if the knowledgeable people here would look at some of these cars, trucks, and buses and tell me if you know what they are. I'll only start with a couple of pictures so it's not overwhelming, and if no one responds then I'll just let it go.

The two cars in the front center are the unknowns. They have pointy fenders like a NAG C4 and grilles similar to early Mercedes or Benz. The car on the left is a Adler 10N Kübelwagen and the trucks in the back are Henschel Typ 33s.

Two pictures of the same kind of NAG truck both from 1914. It's similar to the NAG L8 but smaller, I'm looking for a model name.

Unknown on the left, it looks like a roadtrain even. The bus on the right I think is a Büssing-NAG 400 T. Taken on the Eastern Front during WW2.

This one is a photo I physically own. Taken in May 1941. Presumably it was stolen from somewhere in Belgium or France.

It is indeed a good place for such help. There are other similar threads where people could help, so I hope that someone can help you too
(I can't help for these myself, unfortunately)
