It is crazy that Golf/Rabbit is so cheap in USA. I wonder if it is the same as the one that we have here in Europe, or if many things are made "cheaper", like plastics etc.
Here the cheapest model is the 1.4 litre at 14 k€ with 80 hp (about 11.5 k€ excluding taxes).
I wonder how they get "only" 150 hp from that 2.5 litre engine, as there with the GTI 2.0 litre you have 200 hp (and below that there is the 1.6 litre of 115 hp, but here most of the Golf are sold as TDI, they are pretty rare in gasoline version).
