Now there is a GL550. It's somewhat ugly too... Has anyone seen it?

Yes, I don’t like the wheels on them. My, "Oh So Lovely Neighbor" just purchased a 2007 model GL450
(about two or three weeks ago). He thinks its the best thing on the planet. Oh and get this, He had
the nerve to go straight to my house just as soon as he got it home, just to brag about all the luxury
features it has. He let me take it for a spin around the neighborhood and as I pulled back into his driveway
he had the balls to say "Now isn’t this thing sweet!!! It’s a lot nicer than that cheap old Ford you have."
I wanted to punch the accelerator and run his GL450 through his garage door, but I kept my composure instead.
(Now you see what kind of neighbors I have to live around) Anyway my "Cheap Old Ford" still has more luxury
features than his Merc, and he knows that now. I made sure of that.

Yeah, he sounds like a right tosser.

He also has no taste, if I had enough money to buy a GL450, I would instead buy a high spec E-Class or maybe an SLK, not some god-awful SUV that I'm never even going to take offroad.

Sorry about your neighbors. 10 Years ago kids at school that had Bimmers, Mercedes' Lexus', and Infiniti's were always picking on me most because of how wealthy they were and how they think I was poor and all (I wasn't). Such jerks and then they ended up repeating another year of grade school! And what you said for the wheels I was talking about their front bumpers for the new GL550, not 450.

Yes I know... I just looked it up, and yes that is exactly what my neighbor is.

The American equivalent is probably "jerkoff".

My neighbor "The Tosser" was apparently born in a well-to-do family, which is most
likely why he acts like he does. His whole family acts like that, wife, children, the

Do you mean he hasn't really had to work hard, even though he's got plenty of money? What does he do for a living? I can't believe he said "it's a lot nicer than cheap old ford you have." That's what I dislike about luxury SUVs like the Merc ML and the BMW X5, they are social climbers cars. I also think some of the BMW and Mercedes sedans (particularly BMWs I think) are bought by snobs and showoffs as well. I think the BMW 3-series is a car often bought by people who think they are too good for a Ford Mondeo. I don't think every single person who owns a BMW or a Merc is like that, but a lot of them are. I'll admit I'd love to own a Merc, but because I respect them as cars, not because I want to prove to everyone how much money I have. But I'd never drive an ML or an X5.

His does work for a real estate company and his wife works as a nurse at the local hospital. So
I’m sure he makes decent money. But I also think he inherited a lot of money when his father died,
as he was a God forsaken lawyer somewhere up north (I want to say Pennsylvania but I’m not sure)

And yes he did slur off on my Expedition, in a most arrogant way. He’s an Ass hole...

Also the talk of tossers etc. is something that is somewhat not approprate. And your neighbor may not be making a lot of money as he says he is since he's in real estatre and that the market is slow right now. Oh and make sure Neptune that he doesn't know your nickname and that you've insulted him like this on the site in case if he knows of it. I'm sure he just wants to brag about his money and stuff. I have known rich snobs before too.
