I think I didn't even notice that Matchbox were RHD I really had few of these, most of the cars that I had when I was kid were from Majorette (same scale as Matchbox) and Solido (1/43th), two French makes (so LHD and more focused on French cars).

Now that you say it, indeed the old ones are RHD
