I just used this sorting to keep members with more than one car together.

We could add those vehicles where the owners contacted you by eMail, either using their eMail-alias or just "John Doe".

Also a list of those cars where the owner is known. This could be useful if someone (from the film industry) tries to track down a certain car (then sorting by car names or production dates would be more useful).
