Yesterday I made a tour to 'Tattarisuo' which is an industrial area in Helsinki. It is completely focused on car repair and dismantling business. It's a shame I didn't take a camera with me
But I saw these junk cars:
Renault Goelette, Moskvitsh 2140 (for sale €350), Izh 2715 Pickup, Wartburg 353W (x 2), Commer truck, Ford D-series fire truck, Ford Fairmont, Ford Escort Mk 1 (x 3), MB W115 (x 3), Volvo Amazon, Mercury Sable GS, Hanomag-Henschel F67 Camper, Fiat 127 and Mercury Comet.
There is also an area where city of Helsinki collects all abandoned cars from the streets. There were about 200 cars there. Mostly boring 1980's cars (Golf II, Kadett E etc.) but also three older cars. Volkswagen Scirocco Mk 1, VW Beetle and a true surprise: Austin A60 Cambridge!!!
