I saw "add movie" option, but as I have a lot of pictures of same car and I can't decide which one is the best, I prefer to use old system - put images here, and then admins can choose which ones are suitable for putting on a website. Plus,



- some cars appear in several episodes and sometimes I can't decide which car is blury and too small to be listed (I sat on my googles few days ago and broke them ), so I put everything here, and admins can decide are they going to put them on the site or not. I know that it's a pain-in-the-ass for admins (I'm admin on one forum too ) .

Anyway, I'm going to proceed the way I started (I hope that's not a problem ), so here is

It was also named Riva in Yugoslavia. Ladas that were imported in YU were better than ones sold in USSR, so it was common to see Russians coming to Yugoslavia to buy a used Lada - you don't have to wait plus used Ladas were nuch cheaper un YU rather than USSR(used Ladas were never expensive in YU).



All 126's in YU were from Poland, they came trough consignation, and they were sold as "domestic car", which ment lower taxes and ability to buy them for yugolsavian dinars. Cars that were imported regulary had higher taxes, ad you had to pay some part of the price or the entire amount in foreign currency. For example, if you wanted to buy a Mercedes, you had to pay for it in Deutsche Marks, for Peugeot you had to pay in franks etc. These makes were coming trough consignation and could be bouht for dinars (data from 01st of april 1980.):

Getting foreign currencies was hard (due to recession that stroke Yugoslavia in 80's), so buying cars for dinars was very popular. Only makes that had poor sale were Moskvitch, Volga GAZ and ZAZ, due to it's poor quality and affordable western substitutes, especially Golf.
