Earlier this year I gave out a list of vehicles for the 2005 Disney Channel made-for-television movie Life is Ruff
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450455/
http://forum.imcdb.org/forum_topic-3703-Life_is_Ruff2005__TV_MovieNo_Pics.html
For those of you who aren't familiar with the movie, Life is Ruff is the story of a conniving, comic book-loving tween version of Ferris Bueller, who adopts a huge dog and enters him into a dog show in order to win money for the first edition of his favorite comic book. However, a lot of the movie is shown from the dog's P.O.V., but that's not the most importatnt part of this message. What is important, is that I now have screencaps from the movie.
I'm going to start with the first action vehicle from the movie. It's a 1997-2003 Ford Econoline driven by two dog catchers. Since they chase after the dog, it gets three stars. After that I'll add images of other vehicles in future messages. This could be big, but I can always shrink it.

Here's a Blue Bird All-American FE school bus that Kyle Massey & Mitchel Musso's characters ride. I'd give it two stars, because it's only in a couple of scenes. Sorry about the playback icon that ended up on this as well as the earlier one, and any future images. It was an unavoidable hazard of iTunes.
More to come.

Okay, these are going to be cool. This is a 1968 Ford Bronco driven by the captain of a high school basketball team who seeks a favor from Massey's character(Calvin Wheeler). Two stars and two images.
Now here's a 1982-86 Ford F-Series pickup next to a 1991-95 Plymouth Voyager or Dodge Caravan.
You can tell that the oldest this Ford F-Series pickup could be is a 1982...
.. by that blue oval mounted in the grille.
That Ford Freestar is owned and driven by the main character's parents, and they do drive him and his friends around town, including to the dog show, so I don't know whether it gets two stars or three.

Here's the Chevy pickup in the background that I mentioned in the previous thread.
I also mentioned the Lincoln Town Car Limousine, which appears to be from this century(2003 or later), but I didn't mention the Lexus, because I forgot about it. The Lexus is a background vehicle, but the Lincoln isn't.
And just to prove it isn't, here's Carter Jenkins stepping out of it. Two stars for this. There's even a Ford Excursion limo in the background, but it's only in the background.
This one's a little tricky. This Cadillac Escalade isn't even driven by anybody credited in the movie, but Kyle Massey uses it to prove he and his dog can arrive in style, while Mitchel Musso diverts the driver's attention. So two stars... maybe.
And I think that's it. You can mark this done when you're finished uploading them, and believe it or not, I'll be loading up images from an episode of "iCarly"(2007-TV Series) pretty soon.

Besides the playback icons that accidentally wound up on here, are the first two images too big?

The first two are a little big in file size (50-60 KB for such small pic is a lot) but still under the limits of the site (which is an absolute limit, which does not take in account the width/height of the image in the test)

Ahh, my fault for using the file attachment function on the page. Perhaps these are a little better. Here's the 1997-2003 Econoline:
And this is the Blue Bird All-American FE:
I also got three more images of that Ford Granada from the music video of Blur;Parklife this morning.

Don't you have an intermediate size between very big and very small for the pictures?

Ugh! Now these are too small?

well 320 pixels wide is small, the limit is at 720... but what is the size of original pics? Is it a dvd?

No, it was scanned from iTunes. I've only been able to shrink pics with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, and the best option they offered me turned out to be under 20k.
Just out of curiosity; Are the ones from The Slaughter Rule defective in anyway?

They are very small too.
To shrink pictures you may want to try to use xnview.
Here is a small tutorial that I made recently and posted elsewhere:
Launch the program, browse to the folder in which are your files, select all files, go to "Tools" menu -> "Batch processing".
It should then list in that window all the files that you selected at the step before.
Possibly adjust the output directory (here I have set same as input, "e:\01" which is my temp folder), select JPEG as format, click "options" on the right
If your pictures are already in JPEG format, I recommend to select another directory as output, so you can make few tries (else your original images will be overwritten, and if you put a wrong setting they are lost)
adjust the slider to have quality set at 80 instead of default (95?), enable the "progressive" option (makes a little smaller files), then "ok".
Back in the "batch processing" window, now open the "transformations" tab/page.
If your pictures have back borders you'll have to use the "crop" action - tell me if you need info about that, I can add these
To resize the pics if they are bigger than 720 pixels wide (which is the case with PowerDVD if I am right), select the "resize" action and click "add" :
Enter 720 in the "width" field.
If the ratio is already good (i.e. pictures are not too flat or too high) you do not have to fill the "height" field, and just keep the "keep ratio" option.
Else you have to uncheck that option and enter the right height depending on the movie.
Height = Width / ratio, with ratio being one of the following in most of the cases:
1.25 (some very old stuff)
1.33 (fullscreen tv)
1.66 (some tv series)
1.77 (widescreen 16:9 tv, usually matches images with black border, not common on pictures where black borders are already removed)
1.85 (movies)
2.35 (movies)
Click "go" and you should get your images converted
Uncheck the "close..." option just above the "go" button if you want to make few tries without re-entering settings each time.
Here I mentioned 720 as width to enter because it was about DVD pictures.
For lower quality pictures you may enter 640 for example, no need to make too big pictures if they are not so sharp.

Gah! I can't do it. I don't know if it's the fact that I don't use PowerDVD(which still doesn't work for me, BTW), but I just tried it with the four images of the 1968-69 Ford F-Series pickup from The Slaughter Rule, and I couldn't tell you whether or not anything happened.
Bear in mind that I have printed out your tutorial.

well then it is better to post too big pictures rather than too small ones, since we can still reduce the big ones
