We are planning to visit SCO again in 2013, maybe also Glasgow, as we hadn't been there until now, but not in January. But the "Histo Monte" (nickname in Germany) is too boring, that I would go there. Always the usual boring car-stuff, masses of old Benzes, Porsches, Jags, Mustangs, Big Healeys and so on. All the clunkers, which are cluttering up other classic car events, if the organisators aren't careful.
I'm not sure, if I will go there next Saturday:

But last year, when I'd been there, the 140km weren't it really worth. I check dealers of VW-stuff, if there are some K 70-bits in some boxes, but an extra tour for that is not neccessary.
The event on the following week at the same location seems to be more for bikes and bicycles:

So I'll wait for the next general spare parts and automobila market over there.
Last year I've been there for the first time: http://www.ic-tm.nl/en/ and it wasn't really worth either. Too many premium brands, so the usal combination of boredom and high prices.
In March http://www.zentralhallen.de/OldtimerMarkt_16.html could be nice again. I've found some nice stuff there in the last years.
A question to our British members: what's more worth a trip, the May- or the September-event? http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/spring-autojumble
