The Saab? It was part of a police collection*, but I got that one from Ebay. There are often resellers of models that someone escape from the factory
* like the VW Beetle, that one was the first number of the collection that could be ordered without subscription

The VW was cheap back then, as it was the first number of the collection, I guess it would be possible to find it secondhand as they probably sell many.

How time flies... Fifteen years ago, belgian police car models were easy to find in many stores thanks to Hongwell/Cararama, and now it's all gone.

They seriously need to get that Ascenseur pour l'échafaud 300 SL its proper licence plate and have the Blues Brothers police cars in various states of destruction...

Made by Ixo for Editions Atlas. Good shape, and better details than the dark green version I have, made for DeAgostini in Russia.

The best 1:43 E-Type S1 models I've ever seen are the Century Dragon resin roadster and FHC in various colours. Difficult to find and will probably be expensive now, but a couple of years ago there were bargains sloshing around on ebay and similar as Jaguar commissioned a batch as dealer promotionals, which showrooms and parts factors then decided to clear out with big reductions. Also recommended are the Kyosho Roadster and FHC from several years ago, either as Kyosho-branded or rebadged by Lledo (as it was then) under the Vanguards Gold range - nicely done despite their age with excellent wire wheels, and still cheap today.
Not my usual thing but stumbled on some European partwork commercials recently with unexpected British delights:
1]French Hachette "Passion Camping Cars" partwork - 1966 Bedford CAL Dormobile Camper
(FBK 29D is genuine Dormobile, but in bland Sage green/cream scheme)
2] Spanish "Vehiculos de Reparto y Servicio" partwork - 1962 EBRO B-45 (Ford Thames ET6) Coca Cola
3] same Spanish partwork - 1974 SAVA J4 (BMC J4) San Miguel
- there are also some liveried normal delivery vans in the series
4] same Spanish partwork - 1962 SAVA BMC S-66 (BMC FG) MOP tipper. I guess MOP is Spanish version of Roads Department or similar??
All are nicely produced models with good detail, made in Bangladesh, and about £15 each in UK (ebay or enthusiatic model shops) so bargains, particularly if anyone likes doing conversions - someone's posted pics online of the SAVA S-66 transformed into an Austin FG Sunblest bread delivery van.

MOP meant Ministerio de Obras Públicas. As in Public works.
I have a few of Hachette's Camping Cars. They are quite nice but the main problem, IMHO, is that the vehicles have been reproduced in their present state. Current french number plates on older models have been common, as are modern additions (rollup awnings, satellite dish) or personal custom touches, like that smiley face on the Ultravan or an old Borgward grille stuck on the Schäfer Orion. From what I read on forum-auto.com, this was a deliberate choice by the persons in charge.
Later models in the series were less customized, fortunately.
Also, out of sixty issues, more than ten are either british built or converted. This wasn't fortuitous, because Hachette had plans to release the series in the UK. A test launch happened somewhere, but as usual, the results weren't convincing enough for a national release.

Interesting info. I was surprised how specifically British some of the other campers were (earlier CAs, some CFs, Commer Highwayman, etc) and onscreen they look very precise, but an abandoned national partwork explains it. I like the look of the Mini Wildgoose .... one for the shopping list.

Yes, it can't be opened more than this (it's an old model so I don't really want to force it).

At first i thought it wasn't opening ( reason why i made the joke ) .
Good call about not forcing it, i don't know for how long you have it but i bet a car in such great condition is hard to find now
