It seems, that the classic British bajonet-bulb is on its retreat:
Due the condition of the "lense cover" it seem, that this (former) cl82-car is running besides the dsl-home since and for a longer time:

No idea, why this monster-bulb was placed in a wee bathroom in our cottage. Maybe as a heating, too - what it indeed was.
Sorry for being nasty, but I must admit, that the British house-technology sucks. As for example:
