I've got a book called "Masters of American Comics" where a few cars can be seen, most of which are just old 1920s cars. But here's the best part:
In the calendar-comic "Rusty Brown" from 2001, the pictures with calendars constantly changed from 1973 to 2001, ending at December 2007. Here's the deal: The January picture, set in 1973, clearly shows an AMC Pacer....which wasn't made until 1975. In addition, it has the 1977-79 hood bulge.
Other vehicles include a 1937 Plymouth in the March 23rd, 1939 issue of [i] Gasoline Alley [i] and many others.
