Here is an article I found on my local paper some time ago and gotten around doing this:
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Monday, October 20, 2014
Nation & World: In Brief, page A7
California
‘Easy Rider’ Harley sold for $1.35M
A motorcycle reportedly featured in “Easy Rider” has been sold for what auctioneers say was $1.35 million. The Profiles in History auction house in Calabasas did not identify the buyer with Saturday night’s winning bid for the “Captain America” chopper. Spokeswoman Sabrina Propper says bidding was fierce for the Harley-Davidson that the house says was ridden in the 1969 movie. More than one version of the bike was built, but according to the auction catalog, the one that sold was the only one to survive.
But, somename already posted the information at 1951 Harley-Davidson Panhead in Easy Rider, Movie, 1969
