Yesterday I had a great day at my favourite car-event in the year at http://oldtimermarkt-bockhorn.com/
I followed this traumatising cl82-car to catch a pic of the "Rootes Group Owners Club"-sticker in the richt back side window, but unfortunately it drove on the area at the most crowded time and didn't find a parking lot.
And I was also distracted by the exhaust-cloud from this motif:
which had problems to leave its parking-lot.
Caused by its size and blocked by the reluctant
There was a German couple, who offered 7 or 8 Portuguese classics, for example that one:
A selfmade unicum. Selfmade frame, back from a 3-Series BMW, front axle from an Innocenti Mini, engine from a Goggomobil.
UK-version:
The sticker is from the first and only free and democratic elections in the DDR in March 1990
Can anyone identify the camper-coachbuilder? It looks somehow British, but the Transit is LHD
A plenty of years ago there was an Autobahn-race between this Glas 1700 TS and my K 70. The K 70 (with 5hp more) won.
Glas V8
Rootes-crap x3
Of course you could hear several times "Hey, a Sahara-Ente" ("Ente" = "duck" is the German nickname for the 2CV)
It was obviously really first registrated in Andorra. The second plate lay in the trunk
NSU Wankelspider
@rjluna2: the extra window-washer are originally the 1974+ "made for S" headlight-washer, but as this was a Polizei-car in its first life, it was used against eggs - thrown at demonstrations.
Until ca.10 years ago it was possible to get a truck-registration for a Wagon, Van or SUV, when the back side windows are irreversible closed, the back seats are irrversibliby removed and there was a load capacity for a specific minimum weight. One of the last remainders:
US-version:
Where are the little white sticker-tapes?
UPS it the first life, party-camper now:
Annother of these Portuguese cars for sale:
