Didn't knew exactly where to put this as i did not attend the event despite the fact that it was almost in my backyard ( about 10 mins drive ) so i hesitated to put it in the car show pics and they're not funny enough to put in funny internet pics....
On August 30 2015, Montréal-Nord organized with the help of VAQ a car exposition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the district. The cars , from 1915 to 2015 were displayed to show the evolution of automobile throught the century of Montréal-Nord.
What is so funny, is that on page 3 there is a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue in mint condition except for that rubber ( or plastic )lip under the bumper( i'm not afraid to say so, i know the car, my mom's cousin is the owner ). The car itself is not that funny but the fact that it went to an exposition before his 1979 Chevrolet Camaro RS ( also now back to mint condition, restored with genuine Chevy parts ) is
Camaro was supposed to have its first at Terrebonne this year but weather screwed it up and while looking the VAQ's website, we saw they were looking for cars but he couldn't register the Camaro as 1970-1979 range was already completed . So he did registered the Olds as there was some space for 1990-2000
I saw some of them in Terrebonne last year and even recognized the 1948 Austin A40 that i saw earlier this year while looking at the pics.
If interested pics are in http://100ans-mtlnord.ca/galerie/nggallery/album-lancement/30-aout-exposition-de-voitures-anciennes/page/1
