There's a french website that's been referencing limited editions for years :
http://aebergon.perso.neuf.fr/menu_general.htm
Good resource site, but some bits are puzzling, like when it says the Subaru Impreza XV was a limited edition for Switzerland (yeah, right).
http://aebergon.perso.neuf.fr/Japon_divers/page_Subaru_Impreza_XV_CH_10.htm
And they still haven't referenced these slightly forgotten limited editions from Belgium :
- the awesomely named Peugeot 309 "Basic Homme de Vichy" (an early range of male skincare products), from around 1990.
- and the 1982 Renault 4 Shopping.
Also, a list of the 15 worst special edition acoording to http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/gallery/the-15-worst-special-edition-cars/
Meh. Another quick list mixing real limited editions with show cars.
