Might be already started here, since a few days a tv commercial featuring the Toyota Corolla and the iM having the same promotion and the commercial doesn't make any mention of Scion , stating that we can choose either the Corolla or go for the 5-door version ( the iM )

Had a little chat with someone at a Toyota dealership and waiting for more info by e-mail about if the rebranding already started or if its just a promotion held by both divisions

Here's what I saw in Brussels, earlier today.

OK, this must be for a french film. Or TV-series. That pickup and the two vans are probably disguised as fake GIGN/RAID (SWAT) vehicles. There's some lettering on the sides and doors, but it's covered with sheets of paper and black tape. And it's probably for the best. I mean, we are still at threat level 3 in Belgium and the army still patrols the streets of Brussels.

Still, I didn't see any film crew, and the boulevard wasn't cordoned off. Just a few rental trucks, a flatbed-mounted power generator and a couple of hydraulic platforms. Maybe all of this was just delivered and the real filming will start later today or tomorrow.

Just saw a Car & Driver article that says the cars will be renamed the "Corolla iM" and "Yaris iA".

Found this about the final run of the Scion tC. Called Release Series 10.0, it will be available only in Barcelona Red with black wheels , spoiler and Scion badges . This tC will also have dual exhaust . Suspension will also be lowered a little bit . Inside, some red touch here and there ( seats, shifter, steering wheel .. ) 1200 of them will be produced , 200 of them going in Canada

Just saw on tv : commercial with 2016 Toyota iM so the change is already made here... saw 1or 2 already but not close enough for telling Scion or Toyota.. those with the Scion badge will be quite rare...


Or is it only to prepare the buyers to the transition ? because the iM still part of Scion's website and is not on the Toyota one... ( or they are just not updated ? )

The Mitsuoka Brooklands closely looks to a Morgan Aero 8, for me.

For the Crime movie "Jammertal" they want to fly with a police car through two caravans. The movie will hit cinemas in 2017. This is filmed in Rhein-Lahn-Kreis district where i live now. The filming location Katzenelnbogen is only 15 Kilometers away from my appartment. At ebay you can now buy a ticket to sit in the passenger seat during the stunt:
