I'd say it's closer to a Minicab. Meanwhile, the not-Wikia-anymore article mentions a Daihatsu Hijet too.

Anyway, it was intended to be a generic model, nothing more. It's like the upcoming Lolux, a customised pickup with most body panels removed. Because of the pun name, everybody will say it's based on a Toyota Hilux, but it's probably just a generic design.
