Just bricks without doors, wheels, windows, etc. that sounds like Lego from the 60s (though that they already had windows) or just basic brick box, but not sets
just found them, i forgot to click on next ( there was 29 results and i saw only the first 24 ) on Toys R Us website.. but you still have to buy a box of this, a box of that and a box of these ones ( and a green or blue plate ) to find what you really want.. marketing at its best..
I'll be honest , maybe the ones i had as a kid were a little bit of these, of that and maybe this and i just thought it was sold that way..
( i really don't have a single clue of how i ended up with them at the first place.. )
