Seeing how far is it, was it really worth listing?

It caught my eye, so yes I thought it was worth listing.

Some book I recently found at a library on movies filmed and taking place in New York City showed a still frame image of The Out-of-Towners(1970) that included a Ford Thunderbird driving by that huge pile of garbage where Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis were walking on the sidewalk. I don't know if or when I'm going to try to capture that, but I thought it was worth noting.

Here's another surprise; That teeny-bopper boyband sitcom Big Time Rush (2009) actually has some vehicles in it, most of which are background vehicles. There's a slim chance I'd try to capture them, wit the emphasis on "slim," but I still think it's worth bringing up.

In any case, besides episodes of The Equalizer, and the movies House Arrest and Angus, there are a couple of music videos I've set my sights on, so I'll see if I can capture a vehicle or two from them. I also thought about going back to snagging some images from Marathon Man (1976), and maybe capturing that vehicle goof in National Lampoon's Senior Trip (1995).

Coming soon: more season 2 and season 3 images from "Route 66" as well as the movies "That Funny Feeling," "Macon County Line" (a classic car B-movie from the 1970s, I'm surprised it's not already listed) and the Disney movies "Follow Me, Boys!", "The Shaggy Dog" (the black and white original, not the 2006 remake) and the 1970s follow up "The Shaggy D.A." which I just finished, in fact.

My next major TV projects: "The Doris Day Show" and "Get Smart!"

Shoot the Moon(1982) is next on my Netflix queue. I have a VHS copy, but I can't swipe images from that. I'm also going to try to gather images from The Architect (2006). Maybe the Netflix copy will let me grab images, which the Blockbuster copy wouldn't.

There's also a Lincoln Continental in the 1995 music video for Blessid Union of Souls' "Oh, Virginia." I haven't decided whether I want to do it myself, or pass it along to somebody else.

More episodes of The Equalizer (1985-1989) are being considered, and perhaps other vehicles from episodes that have already been covered.

If I don't order my copy of Angus (1995) in August, I'll try to do it in September.

In the meantime, is anybody considering swiping images from The Trouble with Angels(1966) ? If not, I might look into this during Autumn 2010.

I just finished adding new and upgraded images to Season 1 of Get Smart (1965-1970). Now I plan to skip to Seasons 4 & 5 to get the Citroen and upgrade images of the Karmann Ghia and Opel GT, among other cars. That should be ready in about two weeks if not sooner. Also coming soon: "Son of Flubber."

I try to do 'I Spy' all three seasons by the end of this year. Early next year it's time for Kojak Season 3 OR Starsky and Hutch Season 4 (havent decided yet).

I will do Derrick season 1985 (which I am close to finished with), 1986 and 1987, as I aquired these seasons on DVD recently.

UPDATE: I finally got Angus (1995) today, and The Architect should be coming from Netflix this saturday. So that's two movies with vehicles I want to capture either on the weekend or next week.



UPDATE #2: Angus(1995) was finally started.

I finally got images from The Architect(2006) up, and I'm going to keep getting them. As I suspected, the copy from Netflix lets me scan images, and the one from Blockbuster doesn't. Sixcyl, there are two words that would make you want to watch that movie; Hayden Panettiere.

As I've mentioned, I'll be doing The Trouble with Angels (1966) this fall, and if I can find cars in it, Storm Warning (1951), starring Ronald Reagan, Doris Day, and Ginger Rogers.

'Dalziel and Pascoe' Series One and Two and the first series of 'A Mind To Kill' have been started. If I don't get through them quickly it could take me a while as I'm getting busy with work and I will have less DVD and Internet time

EDIT: Unlikely to be done any time soon as I've lost all the work I've done so far and indeed the backup for everything else due to a broken memory disk :(:(

I don't know if anybody else has been paying attention, but MTV, a cable network that no longer deserves that name, has a recent sitcom called The Hard Times of RJ Berger. It's not a kid-friendly show, to say the least, but since it has vehicles, and the official website shows full episodes, and it's coming out on DVD, it can be added, and I'm putting it on my to-do list.


Before I get to that, though, I have a copy of Storm Warning (1951) from Netflix that I got on Tuesday and I haven't watched yet, so I'm not really sure if there are any identifiable vehicles in this one.

Oh and I forgot something: in the next few days I'll add much of Season 3 (1957-58) of Highway Patrol.

One thing that won't be coming soon is an IMCDBer buying a designer hand bag

Spooks is starting it's ninth Series so I will work on that.

As for the two things I mentioned in my previous post they are postponed until I find out if my Pen drive can be fixed. If it can't I'll wait a few months then start again.

Speak for yourself, I have a girlfriend who's dropping a lot of birthday and Christmas hints!

I finally captured that '71 Chevy Impala in National Lampoon's Senior Trip, and I'm going to watch this for my own pleasure soon. When I send it back to Netflix, they're going to send me The Trouble with Angels, and I'm going to look for some vehicles in that. But either before or afterwards, I'm going to add a missing background vehicle in the remake of Hairspray.

Beyond that, I'm not really sure what else I'm going to post. I know I promised vehicles in episodes of The Equalizer, but I can't think of which episodes I want to snag them from.

Coming soon: "Norma Rae" (the Oscar-winning Sally Field film, set in the 1960s but full of late 1970s cars) and the Jerry Lewis classic, "The Disorderly Orderly," which I'm told has a wild and woolly chase involving an ambulance. Also, more of "The Doris Day Show."

There's a chance that my copy of the remake of Hairspray may be damaged and will require some cleaning. So for now I've submitted two vehicles from an episode of The Hard Times of RJ Berger(2010, TV Series).

The Trouble with Angels is more than likely to be next, but I'm also considering replacements for the images of the vehicles in Hoodwinked!

One vehicle from The Trouble with Angels has been added so far, and it's a short-wheelbase International Harvester Loadstar school bus. There are background vehicles, but if an when I show them is something I haven't decided yet.

I'll try those replacements of Hoodwinked!, and additions for The Hard Times of RJ Berger and The Equalizer during the fall. Beyond, that I'm not sure what I'll do next.
