'Tis the season!
I just added the cars from the montage that opens the "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" animated special that runs every year here in the States, and I hope to add a few other Christmas favorites as well. They include:
The Bishop's Wife (1947)
The Preacher's Wife (remake of above)
Christmas in Connecticut (1945)
Holiday Inn (1942; introduced "White Christmas" and later remade as the movie "White Christmas" which is already on the site)
I'm not even sure the last two movies even have cars, but I plan to check them anyway.

I've just bought a DVD of the film 'Four Lions'

Will add caps next weekend. Before that I will upload A Mind To Kill, Luther and more Dalziel and Pascoe.

The recent "True Jackson: VP" episode
"True Drive" contains an early-1970's full-size GM Sedan, that's supposed to be from 1971, and has had a missing windshield since 1973. I don't know if I'm going to get that or not, but it's still a good tip. I
am going to try to capture some more cars from
Marathon Man before I send it back to Netflix and get my copy of
Easy A this week.

Easy A is already completed, but if you get it as DVD you may still replace pictures by better ones
21/12/2010 @ 16:33:16: Ddey65: Coming Soon...
I was going to watch it for my own enjoyment, but since you mentioned it, I might try to get some replacement pics.
In the meantime, I've just finished with capturing two last images from
Marathon Man, one of which is a substitute for what I originally wanted. Now that I'm done(for this round), that means I'm about to send it back so I can get my copy of Easy A.
Somebody posted a thread on identifying Checker Cabs. Where is that?

This one?

I think I might start work on Lewis series one as no one has said they are going to work on it on the page.
Tomorrow I shall add series three of Wycliffe and a couple of episodes of Midsomer Murders (12.03 and 12.04 I think).
I will also try to put up one or maybe two episodes of the Ruth Rendell Mysteries.

I'm putting dibs on Boardwalk Empire with Steve Buscemi; HBO series set in the 20s. First season just ended.

Just got "Return to Mayberry" in the mail! Should have that one done before the end of the week. Also coming: The "Danny Thomas Show" episode in which Sheriff Andy and Mayberry make their TV debut. Two cars in that one. Also scanning Season 6 of "The Danny Thomas Show" to see if there are any more cars.
30/12/2010 @ 18:42:49: Sandie: Coming Soon...
I'll finish off the Lewis page on New Year's day probably. I've finished watching Series Three and have just a bit of Series Four left.
After which I should complete Identity (2010 TV series).
That will be it for a while.

I recently ordered Gridlock aka The Great American Traffic Jam, a TV movie from 1980 that I hope will yield a bunch of good images of 1960s & '70s vehicles.

Oh, I also recently bought one of the Tonight Show boxes from johnnycarson.com. One episode features Ed running over Johnny with some sort of ATV. I'll get a screen grab of that and post.

Skywatcher, if "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" is acceptable as a series, I can think of a few other notable vehicles:
*Johnny had a Corvette, and in the very last "Tonight Show," he can be seen driving it to work.
*Johnny once had neighbor David Letterman's beaten up Chevy pickup truck hauled off his yard, and it turned up on Johnny's stage in Burbank. (One of the show's funniest moments ever.) Come to think of it, the tow truck might also be possible. And I think this clip may also have been reused as part of Johnny's last show, which is one of the most readibly available Carson shows.

Don't see why it wouldn't be. "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" is listed. Unfortunately, the most recent episode in the box is from 1990.

Somebody finally grabbed not one, but two images of
Volkswagen Rabbit Cabriolet driven by Jackson Stewart in "Hannah Montana". That's good. Now I can try to find those blanks in Action Jackson, and possibly even Selena, and perhaps resume my proposals to get car images from The Equalizer. I still can't decide which episode I'm going to try to look in, though.

To the list of 1950s/1960s US family TV shows I'm working on ("Leave It to Beaver," "My Three Sons," "The Danny Thomas Show") you can add one more, "The Donna Reed Show." Season three is on its way to me now (and I know for a fact there are cars in that season that are well seen) and am now slowly working my way through season one.
The first two seasons of "Leave It to Beaver" are coming up late next week. Most of the cars on the "Beaver" page are from the last three seasons of the show, when Chrysler was the supplier; in season one, nearly all of the vehicles are Ford products.

I'm thinking of completing Minder and Bergerac which will be two massive projects.
In the shorter term over the next few months I'll add all the films I've mentioned and the following TV series Chancer Series One, 55 Degress North, The Golden Hour and Wycliffe Series 5 (+ the TV movie episode 4.09).
