Coming in the next couple of months: Season three of Hazel, the second and final season of Car 54,Where Are You?, and two other series that haven't made it onto the IMCDB yet: Petticoat Junction (1963-70) and The Patty Duke Show (1963-66). And perhaps the rest of That Girl unless Ddey wants it.

Well, I've got Seasons 1-4 on DVD, and so far many of the vehicles I've found have been background vehicles. But that doesn't mean I haven't thought about grabbing them.

I had no idea Netflix had any copies. I've been waiting for them to add copies of Zoey 101 so I can add an image of the Dodge Sprinter in "Hands on a Blix Van," but I see somebody else already added it with the wrong episode number. I'm still thinking of grabbing images from a couple of other New Girl, though.

If you own it, go ahead, I think the background vehicles in that ep are worth listing. It may be that one or another one but there's a really nice '64 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe that pops up in one of those later eps. Season 5 is also available from Netflix but is listed as "short wait."

I happen to have my eye on a Jeep Gladiator in second part of "She Didn't Have the Vegas Notion," over on Hoover Dam, and there's that cluster of Los Angeles-based background vehicles in a scene trying to masquerade as New York in "The Homewrecker and the Window Washer" which is where I got the shot of Ann in the Chevy cab.

No, unfortunately here it is not possible to easily and legally buy series that way.
Except 30Rock of which I bought the DVD since the series is a few years old, the series I add are "illegal" downloads.

TV Boy, you're going to have to take any episodes of That Girl that come along at this point. The DVR Drive on my PC is busted, so I have to get a new one soon. If I get any images before then, they'll either be from iTunes, or YouTube, or other sources I won't go into right now.


UPDATE: Much to my surprise, Netflix also has the first season of Nickelodeon sci-fi series The Troop (2009-2011) on demand, and some episodes have cars, therefore I will add some.

the whole series (22) eps is on Youtube , a big problem is a
a) the show had low production values so its kinda painful to sit thru
b) most action happned at night
c) the guy who uploaded them didn't put the eps numbers , so you ahve to se at another site (like www.tv.com) to find out eps numbers

In the meantime, I bought a new internal DVD Rewritable drive yesterday, and I'm going to bring it to the shop tomorrow to get it installed.

So what does that have to do with anything? Well I've also got a DVD from Netflix, and another one that's supposed to be coming tomorrow. Once I get the DVD drive installed, you'll see the 1981 made-for-TV movie Senior Trip: (Not to be confused with the 1995 National Lampoon movie), the lame 1960 bomb The Girl in Lover's Lane:, which was swiped from an MST3K episode, and the 2009 straight-to-video version of The Wild Stallion, hopefully before the end of the month.

I just added The Girl in Lover's Lane (1960), but I ended up making a typo; The semi-colon should be an apostrophe. More vehicles to come.

Has anybody ever seen the 1966 made-for-TV version of Death of a Salesman? There's a scene involving a late-1940's Studebaker(Commander 57 might like that), which I caught at the end of Museum of Television & Radio screening a while back. I might see if Netflix has a copy of that.

I also got a copy of the 2000 indie flick Calling Bobcat, because of the presence of Wendy Hoopes, and the music of Velocity Girl. If the tagline is any indication, it has a car, so I'm going to add some from there too.

I'm considering the Midnight Run made-for-TV sequels, and I recently got a copy of the movie Weather Girl (2009) just to see Kit Pongetti in something other than barely recognized short films and the iCarly episode "iFind Lewbert's Lost Love." If I see any vehicles in that, I might upload them here too.


UPDATE: Weather Girl is cancelled. It has vehicles, and I did spot Kit Pongetti, but the movie was unbearable. If anybody else wants to add vehicles from there, get them yourself.

Tonight I added Another Midnight Run (1994-TV), the first of three made-for-TV sequels to Midnight Run. Tomorrow it should be Midnight Runaround (1994-TV), and either the next day, or the weekend, it should be Midnight Run For Your Life (1994-TV). After that I'm going to see if there are any vehicles in Weather Girl (2009).

Still waiting for the model of that '67 Cadillac sedan from the episode of "That Girl" I mentioned.
