Funny you mention that because I ordered it off amazon last week. I'll do it shortly then. The one I remembered was Johnny Cab; made for movie I thought, but it's been a long time since I've seen it.

As of now I'm having trouble getting the following:
Houseboat(1958) UPDATE: Found
A Thousand Clowns(1965)
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)UPDATE: Captured by bh
You're a Big Boy Now(1966)
Because my local video store doesn't have any copies of any of these.
Wendy O. Williams' "It's My Life"(1984, Music Video), because YouTube keeps removing this one. UPDATE: Found on DVD, and Done
Shoot the Moon(1982), because I only have it on VHS(the same goes for "You're a Big Boy Now")
Life is Ruff(2005; TV-Movie), because I was only able to get it on iTunes, but the PC I used to get it worked poorly with iTunes videos, and the one I replaced it with won't let me go online. UPDATE: All but one truck done
So I'm going to have to put all those off until further notice, and work on other titles.

Oh! I was not aware of the previous discussion Leoz, as I had not read this subject in some time and did not go back to the previous page. It seems that since your message predates mine, then you are the rightful contributor-to-be. I have gotten out of the habit of consulting this list as it seemed to have fallen out usage and maybe got to be too much of a hassle to check here also if it was not already on the site. Anyway, it gave me a good excuse to watch this great movie again.

Usually I do not check this topic either: it was originally made to prevent that non-admin would submit pics that admins were planning to make themselve, rather than for "reserving" a movie.

Raul1983...back on page 4 you mention doing DVD of Cannonball Run. Are you still planning to? I did a couple because I noticed they weren't DVD (and i was watching it one day), but I'll stop if you were planning to do them. I also noticed for a couple of the cars that there are probably better shots than what's up now (ex. the Rolls Royce). There's a couple that are "Really Really Background Cars" - I missed them when i was watching the movie (ex. Accord & Firebird)
19/06/2008 @ 22:50:52: Raul1983: Coming Soon...
I did watch Cannonball Run DVD many months ago but didn't find any new cars worth adding - even the smallest background cars were listed. Image quality wasn't that much better in my DVD and I just didn't feel motivated to start replacing them all.

I think it is best to preserve movies for members who have not contributed so much. In this case, Wampa-One, I'll do it soon.
22/06/2008 @ 23:11:14: CarChasesFanatic: Coming Soon...
What do you mean by "soon" another three months later or so? soon means this week at most, saying that youll upload something "soon" and then take another few months to do it is more a "reservation" than anything, so be more precise when saying soon, otherwise i guess Wampa-One should do it...
24/06/2008 @ 19:48:25: Leoz: Coming Soon...
I'll do them this week!
25/06/2008 @ 16:17:28: Wampa-One: Coming Soon...
@Leoz, I do not agree so much with your idea that “it is best to preserve movies for members who have not contributed so much”. What is the point of that? The number of movies someone has already contributed is irrelevant; and if that was the practice on the site, there would not be nearly as many titles listed. I suspect the most prolific contributors got that way simply by the amount of time they dedicate to making captures and posting to the site.
25/06/2008 @ 19:15:00: Leoz: Coming Soon...
That's what I mean; the more titles a member has contributed to, the more respected their name becomes. Put it that way, what if I go to the trouble of taking snapshots, scaling them and then uploading them when someone else does it after I had already mentioned and get no credit?

I will be adding more shots from "Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny"
And I will actually have
pictures (not just car listings
![ ](images/smileys/grin.gif)
) for "One Fine Day"
This will be my first real contribution so I hope I do it right
31/07/2008 @ 23:13:06: Leoz: Coming Soon...
There are missing pics from Tenacious D?
01/08/2008 @ 03:55:39: taxiguy: Coming Soon...
Well, it turned out that there was at least 1 picture missing (a yellow taxi in fact
![ ](images/smileys/grin.gif)
) but I decided that it wasn't really worth it because it was shown very shortly and was just a blur.
It was during the police chase with the Cutlass Supreme by the way

I pre-ordered the first season of
Life with Derek (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0438719/), so I should be able to replace that image in the opening theme sometime this fall. Before that, I pre-ordered
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970468/), but I don't know jack-squat about British cars of the 1920's and '30's. I did a thread about this earlier in 2008(
http://forum.imcdb.org/forum_topic-3359-Miss_Pettigrew_Lives_for_a_Day2008.html).
In the meantime, I've still got to do
Bad Boys (1983), one more from
Ex-Driver (2000-2001),
Undergrads (2001 Animated series), and add more from
Beavis and Butt-head(1993-1997 Animated Series).
Speaking of B&B, in
Beavis and Butt-head Do America(
http://www.imcdb.org/movie_115641-Beavis-and-Butt-Head-Do-America.html), those two cars that no car took out are a First Generation Honda Accord, and a 1974-76 Ford Torino.

As most of you, usually I do not check this topic and, as a beginner, I don't know if this topic is the appropriate place to do this question.
At this moment I have got 1048 pics about several tens of movies with blanks in IMCDb. Obviously only part of these pics are worth to submit them.
I don't want to send to contributions (for example) a dozen per week, as this is too work for moderators, besides others users and moderators must indentify (99%) my cars.
What do you think is better? Four, five or six movies per week? Must I submit the pictures in contributions or by mail to contrib@imcdb.org?
Reading others answers I don't want disturb others users if I submit several post in contributions and, doing that, I contribute to "block" the category of "contributions". And also (sending several movies by mail) I'll "block" the work of moderators who are working in mails of others users.
What do you think about this? Which is the better way I must choose to (with time) send my pics and "fill" the blanks that I have found?
Thanks.

I think that more admins check this forum than the mailbox. The mail is easier when there are lots of pics for one movie, but for few pics per movie the forum is good I think.
I'll wait for other admins to comment as for the moment I really do not often process contributions...
