Yet a very interesting vehicle and so worth enough to deserve a mentioning.

Why am I not surprised to see you sneaking your "syndrome of the unknown vehicle" about this truck here? As said in the concerned page, propose real arguments and not half sourced guesses and maybe we'll end up reaching a constructive identification?

As rtsbusman1997 says we usually considered that AM General was the most common one.
As for most of those listed on the site we have no way of knowing which maker it is (like often for tanks, as Mike said), we may decide a simple rule like all movies up to 1971 have Kaiser-Jeep and later ones have AM General?

You already know my point of view about it: I would agree if there were a by default/as default identification somewhere near that ID. Without it, I think that some people (including a certain German contributor  ) will use again and again that default ID without even thinking a bit about it, just to make the unknown quickly disappear from the screen. I'm not sure accuracy would benefit from this...

eLMeR started to use GM [GMT530] as name for the unidentifiable ones, as we already have a lot of vehicles listed under the GM make it is not much a problem
