Subject: Non-Unidentified Vehicles

These TopKicks/Kodiaks were still set as unknown when Mike962 wrote his post. Which may explain why he felt so uncomfortable with these pages
But these changes (and some others) were on my to-do list, so that was just a matter of time before the unknown "identifications" disappear. But as we all know, Mike962 and patience...
15/12/2015 @ 22:20:43: antp: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
And about the Reo/Jeep/AM General (from the older to the newer), I suggest we take the name based on a year estimation of the vehicle and the movie it appears, probably often by guessing, but to me it is still better than just keeping these as "unknown". It can always be mentioned in the comments that the make is unsure, just for future reference.

[...] It can always be mentioned in the comments that the make is unsure, just for future reference.

It should be noted each time a default make or model is used, I think. It won't avoid unchecked internal reference by some contributors, but it would at least reflect the facts...
Will there be a "as default identification" field/check-box, in the NextGen?
16/12/2015 @ 20:30:39: antp: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
Until now usually comments allow to see if it was properly identified or just taken random amongst several names.

About the check box "by default", not yet done, but that would be very easy to add, I'll put it on the to-do list

Only if the contributor who proposed the vehicle added a comment about it, or if the admin who validated/modified the identification "left a trace". I'm sure a lot of "default identifications" are not so easily visible

For the make I believe you, as I guess there aren't many others that could look similar indeed, but that other one you give as proof is another model  SB 140 vs SB 127...
(or do you mean then that it is 140 instead of the 127 originally given?)
