But I don't know, by merging two entries, what to do with the entry that will be deleted. Is the picture also automatically deleted from the database ? Or if not, do I put that picture in a comment ? How do I do that ? I have no idea.

Yes, if you delete an entry, the picture will be deleted, so you have to save it first.
Save as a thumbnail (store pictures on the site), add to the comments of the one being kept. Don't forget to save any thumbnails in the comments or important comments with it. Once that is done, delete the entry.

Indeed, pic is deleted so you need to submit it as new "comment picture", either copy the image address and provide it in the second field of the "upload picture for comments" window, or else save it locally and upload it normally like a pic you made.
And for copying comments, the easiest is to click the "quote" icon, copy the whole text with quote tags, and paste that into the comments of the "target" vehicle. To be repeated for each comment (so easier to handle that with multiple tabs open).
Not to forget to mention with the pic put in comments: episode number and/or timetag, if there are any (and role if different than the existing page).
For such merges, if one page is much older (much lower vehicle number in the page address) it is better to keep the oldest page, as it may already be referenced elsewhere (on the site or outside).
Sometimes in such cases if the to-be-deleted page has a better pic or a higher rating, I swap the pictures, adjust the info (role, episode, etc.)
If it seems too complicated you can still let other admins do it, but if you feel OK doing it, that may help fighting against the many duplicates that must exist on the site (or some background ones that should be regrouped once identified).

Is it me, or is this just a bicycle ?

There's already an entry for the moped next to it.

probably, and anyway I doubt that would be identifiable...

Just a question here, you might want to edit this:
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=863983
An ambulance built back into a stock van is an ambulance or a van? I mean, some ambulances started their life as a van or motorhome. However this "van" has a circular shape over the windshield (thats where the blue lights are), indicating a stock ambulance turned into a van.
Van -> Ambulance
or
Ambulance -> Van
And what do we list this? I think motorhome is wrong. When i added that vehicle, i was only thinking about the air vents which are not necessary on a van. But if this is a conversion its more likely an old ambulance without stickers.

The intended rule was ambulance = modified body (could be a base van, wagon or sedan) ; but if it is the base body with just ambulance stickers and lights, then it can be listed in its "base" category.
Same for firetrucks: that's a truck built for a special purpose, with either ladder, pumps, etc. A simple red van or SUV used by firemen is not a firetruck
Should be regrouped with
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_694273-Volkswagen-LT-Typ-28.html if it is an ambulance, I suppose... (that's what you meant by "obsolete"?)
