www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1638478 -but is there a reason behind having chassis # info appear with name on thumb page? Makes sense if it's type-code for a model name like BMW 3 [E21] but for a single chassis? Just wondering :spamafote:

It is used on makes for which the chassis codes are well known & used.
For Porsche it is the case for some cars, like 911s, but for some other models it is indeed less relevant.
Maybe it is not useful to have the chassis number directly in that field in such case, maybe just as extra info like #060 ?

Well not as extra info. For model type-codes like 991 992 etc for the 911 I agree to have them appear everywhere but what about specific cars like 718 [718-060] is a specific chassis# (sequence is 718-001 to 718-078). Why does it appear in the thumbs list of the movie? It's not general type-code for the Porsche 718. Like e.g. https://www.imcdb.org/v568112.html chassis# [01942] does not appear in the thumbs list, only in the car page. Hope now I explained what I meant :dawa:

Because it is a per-make setting.
That other link is an Alfa, for which the chassis code are not very important, so not included in the name under thumbnails.
