seems all agree that its a Seagrave
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_433426.html

from that poor image I would leave it without model name cos doubt it will be ever solved
08/09/2013 @ 16:43:27: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
he claims American LaFrance , personally I would delete this entry cos it's too far in the background for a 1 star
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_426332.html
08/09/2013 @ 19:40:31: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles

http://imcdb.org/vehicle_626669.html
08/09/2013 @ 19:42:07: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
this could be listed just as White M3 without mentioning Scout or Halftrack
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_624191.html
08/09/2013 @ 19:42:55: antp: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
seems solved too , persoanlly would have deleted it cos 1 star and too little visible of it
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_260173.html

It is rather important for the scene I guess, it is not a random background.

Is "Pumper" really a model name? Doesn't it just describe the equipment type?
(in French I know that one of the trucks type is a name translating that)

It was for regrouping. Also as all others are in one of the two categories...
08/09/2013 @ 20:00:52: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
here the official Seagrave Site seems "Pumper" is model name, confusing site! ?

http://www.seagrave.com/trucks/pumper-tanker

if not then leave model unknow
08/09/2013 @ 21:03:24: antp: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
Indeed, it is still possible that they name it "Pumper", I simply wasn't sure.
08/09/2013 @ 21:16:44: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
seems I was wrong !!

"pumper" is a generic term http://science.howstuffworks.com/transport/engines-equipment/fire-engine1.htm

and Pierce another manufacter also uses it , their site is more clearly structured
http://www.piercemfg.com/en/trucks.aspx

you could leave pumper in the extra info section
08/09/2013 @ 22:14:20: antp: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
It can also be a model name in addition of being a generic term (hence my original question: I was nearly sure it was also a generic term)
Like truck, van or wagon.
09/09/2013 @ 10:23:11: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
yes you are right it could have been live Chevy Van but I would leave it just Seagrave to be really sure

this can be considered solved

identical chassis to soviet tractor Made for Movie , that's why I could find any tankette with similar chassis ... those tractors were buld mostly in the Stalingrad tractor factory

http://imcdb.org/vehicle_624177.html

and I don't understand how those other entries in this movie can have 3 and 4 stars and yet soo poor pics of them...
09/09/2013 @ 17:02:34: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles

Note that it is not useful to repost all those of this weekend, I haven't time yet to check all comments (and it seems that we lack of admins doing that)
10/09/2013 @ 16:37:20: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
according to propliner this neds to be merged/deleted
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_383572.html
10/09/2013 @ 19:59:01: mike962: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
a quick change is required for this
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=346974

on IMCDB seems they are listed with Kässbohrer front

http://imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Kässbohrer_model-PistenBully.html

so correct model designation would be Kässbohrer PistenBully PB 300

a bit strange really cos Smart is owned by Mercedes yet isn't listed Mercedes Benz Smart same with Pistenbully to Kässbohrer

anyway I think this can go like this

while at it same story with this , i realised later this IMCDB listings
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_281994.html

I am not sure about "PB" in model name, on official site they aren't listed that way but on vehicle cabin themselves are clearly written "PB 300, PB 400 etc"
10/09/2013 @ 23:44:56: antp: Non-Unidentified Vehicles
for http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=346974 you could post that additional info there for example... and does that apply to all four of that make?
Was that checked? Isn't it the other way round, i.e. the Kässbohrer PistenBully should maybe be listed directly as Pisten Bully ?
