How shall one know that rule about documentaries, as it seems to be another unwritten (and indeed non respected) rule of the IMCDb ?

My mistake, I never added a new movie/documentary so far... The only documentaries related info I knew was the "no ordinary background "traffic" cars (includes parked cars) for documentaries, reallity-TV or music videos" guideline in the help page.
Information recorded, I'll keep it in mind for when I need it

Do you mean, having (model) unknown disappear? What would it be good for? Why wouldn't we have in the future the visit of a newcomer with all the necessary documentation on Manitou, or Alvis, or else?

nobody will come to visit for forklifts...

in adverts it's extremly rare even mentioend, they mention just fuel, lift capacity , year and that's it

Often I kept the unknown as model as a kind "to be checked more thoroughly", but indeed after some time it can be changed to keep only the make name if not identifiable more accurately.
