The popemobile (we got to see the Pope!)

Which one? There are several cars "made for V" and also several with the plate "S.C.V. 1" existing.

Or was it even the famous http://image4-cdn.n24.de/image/3509966/2/large16x9/eq3/papst-neues-auto_580x325.jpg ?

The G-Class, with the wedge-shaped roll cage.

Sorry chicomarx, I've tried it a dozen times, but I cannot turn it

Thanks ingo. Groucho has two stars, one for radio and one for TV. This would be Hollywood Blvd, the other is Vine Street. And there's also the hand prints in the cement.

Seems to have been untouched since it went out the factory. The chrome lasts longer than the paint :).

Except for the "Six" emblem and the vent on the hood, what are the difference between "your" estate and the Standard Vanguard Six one?

Hope it doesn't behave as a yellow submarine, when going in water

In fact, you shot two strange cars: what is the green thing behind?

An interesting car sighting which is a little different:

In fourth grade we were learning about how to be safe in traffic and all that kind of stuff, which was later followed by a test. One of the pics in this test was a picture of a New Beetle reversing out of a gate, and in the back, you could clearly see a silver Citroen HY parked on the street. It was far away, but it was there.

I wish it was my estate! No exterior differences other than those you've mentioned. The 'Six' model introduced an updated interior and most importantly a six-cylinder, overhead valve 1,998cc engine which would later feature in the Triumph 2000.

(the export plate -resp.both export plates here- is from Hannover, where the VW Transporter-plant is located).

I didn't realize that color was that rare. I took the original and cropped just the Charger:

It's all in the spacing - Sub-Limegreen would be a better description ...

something for the DVLA-checkers ..

Long gone from check sites, but it's a Beardmore Paramount Mk7 with a 1959 London plate - eg http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_173489-Beardmore-Paramount-1956.html .

The view in the mirror today on the way to a small K 70-meeting in Holland. Location was the borderline D/NL on the Autobahn A3/A12

The participating car were all known (and photographed a plenty of times), except this one, owned by an old man in the neighbourhood:

A local truck dealer. On the stickers in the windscreens in Dutch colours is all remarked "Country" and "Port", so it's very obvious, that the truck will have a long second life on annother continent.

As planned since a longer time, today I catched this rarity at the other end of my village:

@chicomarx, @DynaMike, you surely know this magazine, or?

There's a story inside with the title "Slaved by the Saab 99 turbo" about a guy, who owns 57 Saabs (all saved from the crusher), among them 26 99 turbo.
