I saw a 1967 Plymouth VIP four-door hardtop (current IMCDb count: 5) today in Reston. It went by too quickly to get a picture, but it was a very pretty pale rose color.

Back from a few days in Porto (Portugal), I saw a few old/interesting cars, but couldn't make a photo of all.

The usual taxi colors, with the turquoise/green roof:

(I like that color scheme)

Thanks. This is a van we do not see a lot, on western side of the former iron curtain

Was there any export to Western countries at all?

"Nero"? What is to be understood, with that plate? You have a pyromaniac in your neighborhood?

The other day I've seen a Vauxhall van (but wasn't the usual rebadged Renault) with Romanian license plate. Wonder why with Romanians go mad with RHD vehicles...
20/04/2014 @ 00:45:36: dsl: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
Lots of Romanians have come to UK for work in the last few years - perhaps someone bought it while living here and kept it when they went home afterwards??
20/04/2014 @ 01:24:55: ElSaxo: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
Could well be, maybe a few are living/working also here in Turin or had moved here. I didn't know that there were so many Romanians in United Kingdom, also here there's a lot of them, everyday I see a lot of vehicles with Romanian plates, evidently both insurances and car taxes are way more cheaper in Romania than in Italy (and in U.K. too).

My Romanian K 70-fellow, who took my old Bundeswehr-Opel Omega, told me, that there are several RHD-cars, all used imports from UK, running there. For the same reason, why I've purchased my Vauxhall Vectra in England, too: in GB used cars are cheaper than in Continental Europe.

A 1978 Ford F-350 still working hard at AUS airport. I like seeing old commercial vehicles still in service.

The owner is probably a US serviceman who was stationed in Italy, but how did he get his Polo registered in Virginia?

If I'm not wrong there are many military bases in Virginia , instead I wonder why he/she bought the car in Rome, while all the NATO/US bases are quite far and located in places full of car dealers...

There are plenty of possibilities maybe from a relative or just because the dealer had a specific good offer. For that reason we'd purchased my wife's Polo over 500km away in Berlin and the buyer of her second last Opel Astra came nearly 700km from the most northeastern German village at the Polish border.

Could you see the combination? It can be possible, that it's a private car of an US servicemen. Those plate are looking like the German one, but have other combinations and other different details.

The video is too bad for that, the car was only on my side (not directly in front), and I forgot what it was (saw this a few days ago).
