With American or European plates?

The Fiat Ducato is, all of its generations, the most common base for Camper-conversions in Europe.

It was maybe sold as motorhome basis via Fiat-Chrysler. After all, they have the Fiat 500 already in USA.
Like there were Winnebago motorhomes based on the Renault Trafic several years ago.

Were they actually Fiat or new Ram Promasters? http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/ram_promaster/

Fiat. The Ducato just with other badges. The Freemont http://www.fiat.de/de/modelle is the other way round, a Chrysler with Fiat badge.
Same with Lancia Thema and Voyager http://www.lancia.de/de/

This early morning I've passed on the Autobahn a car-transporter-truck, loaded with eight Tesla Model S. I've never seen that many on one bunch (not sure, if I've ever seen one with German registration), only a few in California and quite a lot in Lateef-town this New Year Ewe.

Sorry, no photo, as it was too dark and I was driving too fast.

Can anyone tell me the vehicle in the background?

Lil Big Rig Lil Pete with motorcycle and Plymouth Prowler trailer - Lil Big Rig sells kits that can be built on pickup truck chassis, mimicking the big rig look but with a more manageable size. The Lil Pete is designed to fit '94-'98 Ford F-250/350. Now we just have to wait for one to show up on the site  : http://www.lilbigrig.com/Home_Page.php

I saw these cars on the highway this saturday on my way to Göteborg. Four hours later I passed them again on my way home... There was some more cars like Volvo PV 544, Duett, VW Karmann Ghia, MGB, Austin-Healey Frogeye and some more all with Danish plates.
