Today I'd been on a local spare parts market. Due the rain-showers it was very empty. I had time to look for stuff, some IMCDBists have asked for, but unfortunately I haven't found anything except a wee brochure with a K 70 on the cover and two original and official Mercedes Benz-photos with interesting plates. At least I could made some pics for you.
As to be expected these two guys went to the market, too:
US-spec -as all of them- 912 E:
Rare in Germany, especially in West Germany:
No.1710 from 2500:
At first I thought, it was one of the 1978-1980 trials of GM to place US-cars on the West European market, but it's a later used import (taillights, dealer-badge)
mobile locksmith-service:
Asking price 12.900€:
"AGROSTROJ" (I think, rather CS than CZ),

does anyone have more informations about that make? How old is it? Due the wheels, I think 1950ies
The cooking with it works. They offered Erbsensuppe (pea soup) and Bratwurst. The Bratwurst was good, so I ate 3 of them - as my lunch plus the breakfast I didn't had before.
For sale, price on request:
looked quite daily-driver-ish:
An original "Weltmeister", I think:
Offered by someone, who has more US-cars in stock, price on request:
Inconsiderable, but a rarity. My brother-in-law had such a car in rougher condition, when he built his house. Very robust, 2.3 tons towing capacity - and it runs with frying oil (his Rocky with the old Diesel-engine, not this Bertone-assembled top model:
No, this is not an official Bundeswehr-entity-sign
@rjluna2: here you can see the leashes for the window-covering kit:
Not really mint condition (maybe the reason, why it had no historic license plate):
Never really common, a Karmann Colorado:
For that I need some help from our Swedish fellows. On the way out I spotted this set of NOS "rensi"-footmats (1€ for each), unfortunately only with their internal numbers, no remarks about the appropriat car-model. There were "rensi"-mats for the K 70, so I called my friend Mario, if he can check that (I gave him that mats a time ago). He wanted to call me back, but it took a time, meanwhile it started to rain. The seller covered his stuff and I'm told him "Normally I'm on the way back, but I wait for informations about the rensi-mats". He answered: "Give me 6€ and take all of them. So I did.
Now I know, that there are no K 70-mats among them, but I would like to know, for what cars they are, that I can give them to the freaks.
