I wasn't driving.....did i took a pic ? NO..i went out without the camera thinking : well, over 9 pm, cold outside, nothing interesting will show up... :halalala:

Saw this one today...looks in good shape for a nearly 30 years old car...
i hope i did ok by identify it as a 1986-1988 Audi 5000 S

There is also another rare thing in the pic... any ideas ?

Maybe the Lexus GX ?

A few days before we went to Scotland, this car was in front of me, in thick traffic in the town of Dortmund:

Now that's classy. :boggled:

Ah, the dutch fascination for american iron ! On Wednesday, I was in Maastricht, and on a stretch of 5 km towards the suburbs (and ultimately, Aachen), I saw three early 1990s GM cars : a Pontiac GrandAm driven by an elderly couple, a Caprice, slightly customized to look like this Impala, and a Buick, probably a Park Avenue, and the only Euro-spec one of the bunch.

Yesterday I've seen a RHD LDV Maxus with Romanian number plate. Looked to be brand new, although in my opinion in comparison even Fiats looks much better...
04/12/2015 @ 15:00:02: Sandie: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
The Maxus is still made in China and even sold in Ireland now. The LDV-made ones stopped in 2009.

Nobody seems to have a good word to say about the original ones.

A propos Maastricht: is anybody interested to visit the http://www.ic-tm.nl/en/
next month? If yes, we may can arrange annother IMCDb-user-meeting.

Only in that case I would go there again. The last time it was not interesting for mee, just for taking pics for you. High entrance fee, the parkometers are not cheap either around there and nearly nothing interesting for sale.
But in combination with an IMCDb-user-meeting I would go there again.

Sorry for my late reply but i have to say something about this beautiful Ssangyong Tivoli. I sat in this car on IAA in Frankfurt and its unexpexctably nice. Not a good offroad car for an instance, but a nice and desireable van for a Single, who sometimes gets the chance to hook up three (or four) beautiful ladies.

Scrap your Golf and buy a Tivoli! I hate the "All-Germans-need-a-Volkswagen-Attitude" we have in Germany. Its so fucking annoying. You really dump your money if you are so stupid to buy a "new!" Golf...

Maybe the Lexus GX ?

Bingo ! I saw only a few of them since their introduction and i didn't even saw it when i saw the 735

Spotted a not so common Toyota Corolla FX (1988 by the plate) in Boca Raton, FL

Lateef might like this since I know he favors or at least one point, he favored these.

Nice Corolla FX, karoomay! I wanted to buy one in mint condition a few years back, but the guy didn't want to go below 25 grand

"grand" in what currency?

Who knows Lateef, maybe another opportunity on buying one at a more reasonable price might come up. Are E80 Corolla hatchbacks like the FX also hard find in Norway nowadays?

How fitting that an Italian Fiat Punto is a pizza delivery car with Italian flag livery.

Last weekend was my 10-year high school reunion, and one of the events was a tour of the school. It's been significantly renovated since I was a student, but the only detail that's relevant to this forum is the new Energy Systems Lab. There's an old partially-dismantled yellow roadster off to one side; no engine under the hood, a series of batteries in the trunk, possibly a project in electrification. I assumed it was something ordinary like a Triumph Spitfire, but after examining my pictures I've determined it is a Jensen-Healey:

A search of the school's website turned up this chunk of text, but I was unable to recover the full document: "Our project was to convert and restore a 1972 Jensen-Healey roadster into an all-electric vehicle with solar charging capabilities."
