From what i learned here, the Town Car is 1989 by amber front turn signal

the Corvette is 1991-1994 , the 1984-1990 would be like this http://cdn.speednik.com/files/2015/12/2015-12-21_23-51-21.jpg
note the rear's shape ( the only exception is the 1990 ZR-1 which has the old front with the new rear )

1995-1996 has a different front fender shape http://www.buyavette.net/New%20Pictures/35201.jpg

The Voyager looks more like a Chrysler Town & Country, at least to me . the grille looks like this one https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/12/2nd-Town-and-Country.jpg instead of the Voyager's
1992-1993 due to the wood around it ( i think the wood option was out beginning in 1994 but not fully sure of it ) and the black handles ( 1991 had chrome ones )

Thanks. I was in a "Dodge/Plymouth" state of mind and forgot about the Chryslers.

You can rule Super Beetle out. They were introduced in 1971, so would have the larger taillights. Looks like this one has the larger side windows, I'm going to guess that this is a 1965 model.

Isn't it 1949 Ford Custom Tudor?

I'm quoting this post I made back in April because I now know what the film shoot was : season 2 of The Missing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Missing_(TV_series)

I've never watched it, but I've just seen a few seconds of a recap before the third episode, and there it was : someone jumping from a window, and the fake french ambulance below.

Speaking of unusual sightings, I stumbled upon another film shoot during my lunch break today ! It was in Brussels, Boulevard Adolphe Max, just metres from where I saw the setup for this film scene back in 2004 :

http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_817615-Peugeot-407-6D-2004.html

This time, it's bigger.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c259/Exiv96/Car-sightings/IMG_31813b.jpg

It's a scissor platform deployed for a scene on the roof of a hotel. Probably a suicide attempt by the person in a yellow coat.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c259/Exiv96/Car-sightings/IMG_31814b.jpg

Next to the platform thing, there was a 1980s Chevrolet Caprice Estate with a fake french plate (département 98  ) but it was moved away before I went back to get my camera.

I did see this belgian ambulance disguised as "SAMU de Paris" parked in the next street.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c259/Exiv96/Car-sightings/IMG_31818b.jpg

And this six-wheeled Citroën XM flatbed camera car.

I've never watched it either but we have a page with two entries and no captures.

The Caprice station wagon is listed, so perhaps it belongs to the French detective Julien Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo).

1971½-84 International Harvester Transtar 4270/4370 (the difference lays in the BBC length), a.k.a Transtar 4000-Series. More precisely a Transtar F-4270 / F-4370, as it has a tandem rear axle.

The last twelve days I've spent for a short vacations in Thailand (Khao Lak). About cars I have to tell: boooring!

99% of the vehicles either cars, pick ups, vans, trucks, motorbikes or mopeds are Japan origin. Maybe locally assembled, but actually Japanese. Mostly new, just very little older stuff.
The only exceptions were some single brand new Mercedes or BMW and some single older stuff as a 1997 VW Passat, a E36-BMW or a Volvo 740.

As it seems TukTuks are forbidden now. We haven't seen any. The local taxis are all pick ups with benches on the back.

When we took a ride in this one

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/921/0vVeR5.jpg

I've asked the driver for its age and mileage. It's a 1988 car and has "something unknown over one million kilometers" on the clock.

The only classic, I've spotted

and two abandoned vehicles:

My K 70, too. VW was notorious known for bad metallic paintwork back then. First from the early 80ies onwards they were able to handle that.
My K 70 is a rarity insofar, as it's one of the very few early-70ies-VWs with an original, not repainted metallic colour, but it become worse every year -even when the car is stand in the dark barn-, so sooner or later I have to think about that problem.

My latest sights. The times, when more than 70% of the German taxis were such models, are gone, Now it's a rarity (back in the 60ies and 70ies, even 90% of the taxis here were Mercedes).

Been a couple months since my last compilation.

The 1992-1995 Mazda 929 [HD] was never a big seller in the US, and is even rarer today. I see this one parked in the same spot every day:

That GTO just looks half-restored to me.

And the "Arschgeweih" on the Charger reminds me of the Bravado logo from GTA (which is based on Dodge)

Is it still valid? The passengers just picked up metal scrap from the neighbours. The original scrappie's sound (called "Klüngelskerl" in my area)

they played correctly.
