From where is the plate on the Nissan? I thought about Guernsey but it's LHD and there is surely to be a more logical explanation.

Who takes their Silver Cloud out for a drive in the rain?

Saw a few rare things in the past few days, but didn't have my camera/phone ready. This afternoon saw a Suzuki X-90 around the corner from my house. Don't think I've seen one since the 1990s. Also saw my first Caprice PPV earlier this week, used as a hospital security car. Later that day followed a Mazda MX-3, which have all but disappeared.

It is possible that I already met that one and posted it here, a red Mercedes reminds me something

R4 GTL - not easy to meet today:

2006+ plates, but car is rather not used since longer time - at least 2 tyres were flat.

EDIT: Imageshack lost the pic - dead link has been removed.

I still see some from time to time, but indeed it not so easy to meet, especially considering the amount produced.
27/04/2013 @ 00:15:07: weasel1984: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
Here I haven't seen any in regular use/traffic since years, despite they weren't unusual on our roads (but of course their volumes were incomparably smaller than in Belgium or any other West European country - and this must be the reason). Well now I remember, that not so far from me is a place where the R4 fourgon still "lived" few years ago. I will maybe check is it still there.

Last week was a good week for yellow cars. Saw a Ferrari F430, first generation Dodge Viper roadster, Chrysler TC by Maserati, Jaguar E-Type coupe, and a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible, all of them yellow.

This afternoon, on the way to the sport-club in the next town, I saw a RHD-Vauxhall parked on the side, with German plates (WES) - a Sintra. Rare sight also as Opel.

Two minutes later there was a VW Sharan in the oncoming traffic, with plates from Guernsey.

Maybe Opel with grille repaced?

Old Cadillac, which unfortunately loses its paint on the roof and boot lid. /

In the last few days I was unfortunately unable to take pics of the accidentally met Rover SD1 and early, 1st series Porsche 928 - both with yellow plates for the vintage vehicles.

EDIT: Imageshack lost the pics - dead links have been removed.

I saw a DeLorean on the road today. Unfortunately it was too fast for me to catch up and get a photo. :ohwell:

Not as interesting or nice as a DeLorean but probably much rarer on British soil:

And maybe of interest to rjluna2 and ingo, somewhat novel approaches to sidelight and numberplate locations respectively:

xfati's coment should be deleted, it doesn't belong to this thread, which is about our own sightings, not movie-pics.

Interesting oldie, I didin't know this brand before, but I guess it cannot be accidental resemblance:
