Some cars that I've spotted during my holidays in France, last month. I don't know if the Toyota LiteAce is rare also there, but I've never seen one in Italy (it was neither officialy sold, probably):

Peugeot 205 are still rather common, but I liked these two similar parked in row

I need an help, what model is this Saviem truck with joke badge spotted in a vintage stuff/antiques market:

And a rare Citroen DS Cabriolet, original I think and with a plate that I don't recognize (portuguese?):

On the DS, isn't that an old NL plate?

Yes. But I think, a classic import, with this combination. But I'm not sure. You can find it out somehow.

SG-3, in my opinion.

Neon don't you realize that someone could remove the copyright Neon on your pictures? What is the point of doing that?

I follow a blog of old cars and they must have posted 1000s of vehicles by now and they never put a copyright on their pictures. It's just pretty pretentious since it's just a digital camera you're using and not difficult at all to take the picture.

I can't call myself a car enthusiast because that would encompass all of them. There's too many designs that I hate. It really is a love/hate relationship.

You can't like all of them, I rather hate the Copen  , but still can consider it as "interesting thing".

Also nothing wrong in placing signature at own pics, some do it just for fun.

BTW - related OT - I think it would be good, if the next generation of the site would be able to generate a small "imcdb.org" tag at the uploaded pics, but is it easy to do?
Anyway:
a) it would be extra advert for the site
b) I'm tired with copying of our content. If it is one/two pics - fine, but nearly whole pages moved to different sites together with our identifications (w/o mentioned source!) irritate me.

It is easy to do but it requires recompressing the picture, hence losing quality.
If you notice massive image stealing, you could make a thread for reporting that, I may try to contact the site about that... (it already happened previously).

This strange thing I've never seen before. Today, at http://www.malmedyoldtimerbourse.be/ for the first time:

Yesterday in Eupen I saw something similar: a Cadillac Escalade with French diplomatic plates.

US-only model it seems
I am not sure what kind of plate it is, I guess it is some special Dutch diplomatic or export plate due to the NL sticker...

Dutch export

Here's a Mack Railbus I spotted on a railfan website:

I wish I could say I spotted it in real life, but I can't. Nevertheless, it's a Mack, so I thought I'd post the link anyway.

In the category of never-sold-here, I've recently seen a BMW 3 Compact [E46/5] (the one with the funny headlights) with Diplomat plates (DDK, indicating a diplomat from Greece) and a Mercedes-Benz Vaneo [W414] with Virginia license plates.

And for an_unusual_eye, if he ever stops by, a 1980 Datsun 280ZX 10th Anniversary Edition.

And a while ago, I had some time to kill downtown so I did what anyone would do and sat on a bench for an hour and took pictures of taxis. I'm trying to document as many liveries as possible before the taxicab commission sinks its fangs too deep.

Most of them were the usual; Crown Victorias, Grand Marquises, Town Cars, Camrys, Prii, but there were a few gems. Some of the more unusual taxis:

GMC Yukon Denali of Yellow Cab Company

2008-2009 Mercury Sable of Reliable Cab
http://i41.tinypic.com/10g9oc6.jpg

1997-at-the-newest Lincoln Town Car of, appropriately, Lincoln Cab
http://i39.tinypic.com/2a0c9d2.jpg

And, my personal favorite, 1999-2000 Mercury Villager in top-of-the-line Estate trim of Elite Cab (for perspective, of the 54 Villagers on IMCDb, only 5 are second-generation models like this)

2nd-generation Peugeot 106 Rallye:

http://i.imgur.com/VocTrAS.jpg

Quite rare, we only have two on the site: (only one from a movie)
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Peugeot_model-106+Rallye.html

I still expect to some day find a 1st-generation in a movie, it is even rarer.
I saw a few in my life:
- one randomly in the street
- one or two used for racing (like a large part of the few produced)
- my father's car
