If I had to pick one from that set it would rather be the Maserati

Don't you like the Alpine? Anyways, no problem, I can keep the Maserati for you.

Hehe funny, I have cards from that collection, but none of those specifically, shame I don't have the Seville one.

Ingo, do you remember our deal ??
04/08/2009 @ 21:06:58: Toenz: Anyone interested to share an eBay-auction with me? :)
These cards were produced in the mid-90s, I remember when they were advertised. I don't think they contain valuable information, so don't be sad if you lose that auction ...

Yes, sure. But you haven't answered my last two emails.
I had found two, three auctions for you.
Anyways, today seems a good time to buy on eBay. I got some stuff, old literature and some old "Auto Quartett"-card-games -with K 70 included, what else? - for impressive low prices. Some months ago I was shocked about the prices. There was an Austrian Quartett-game of 1970/71, which was sold for over 60 €
Otherwise I'm hoping to get some money for the stuff I want to sell in the next time. I had smoothly started with an South African license plate and some press-photos of the K 70 and more things -not only car-related- shall follow. But when it will continue with the low prices, it will be not nice.

Oh, they are so new? I have no idea, where they are from. Sometimes they were seen on eBay. Do you know, if they were in different languages?
For sure they don't contain valuable informations. When I'm buying K 70-stuff, I never look on these "valuable informations", so I never read the brochures and magazine-articles, I am buying (many are in foreign languages either), I just want to own them.
The real important informations about the K 70 are in the brains of me and my friends.

That was in April and I did answer to you back then. If I remember right I said that the auction of 1972 issues was interesting.

Exactly. I had a great lot of them, but they weren't worth a penny. I gave the whole set to my nephew a few years ago - things that do not happen every day, as I normally keep any car related documentation I receive. Go figure!

Thanks for the tips, but I own all of them.
The first I have bought just last week - from exactly this seller
The second one I own since years. On big classic car events there are some British literature-dealers, for example Andrew Currie from Sussex. He had the best prices in the past. Since 4-5 years, his "K 70"-file is always empty. I bought all stuff, he had.
The third magazine contains a story about the best existing RHD-K 70. I know the car and the former owner (the car was sold later on) personally.
P.S. I also own a motor magazine from Down Under with a K 70-story, the January 1971-issue of "Wheels".
But it's no Australian version (the K 70 was never exported to AUS) just a VW-owned presentation-car. The other European car in this magazine, the Renault 12, had an Australian registration.

Cool! I thought you may own them, just checking in case. Any Aussie mags you are looking for, I know a shop in the city that sells them (Wheels) for $5 each. not bad. Just ask and I'll do my best.

Many thanks in advance, but I think, except this driving-test there wont be anything else in Down Under about the K 70. But you never know it before!
Perhaps there was something from NZ. To there 15 K 70 were exported, and a few came later to the Kiwi's as used cars, for example from Hong Kong. In 1998 me and a friend have visited one of the two K 70-owners there. And some RO 80-fans, too. Until the chairman-couple from the NSU-club was divorced, there was an impressive big NSU-scene there.
We'd been also to a VW-enthusiasts-meeting there (very small, because very rare cars there) and there I've bought several K 70-literature, sales brochures, internal VW-files, etc. The guy was happy to sell it, "because noone is interested in it".
One sales brochure was strange. It was written in English, but shown were LHD-cars (for Britain VW has cobbled the brochures, just with mirroring the pics to RHD - disgusting and shabby). And the printing-number was for Australia, which was strange, because no K 70 was sold there.
Years later, when I've looked closer inside this brochure, I got a shock. There was a dealer's sign inside, from an VW-import-shop in Saigon, South Vietnam.

Back to topic: I got these cards, for just 1 €. If anyone is interested in the other cards, just send me a mail with your address and I'll send them you you. The postages goes on me, tips for K 70-related things in your countries will be enough as payment.
